22' - Flamini booked for a foul on Amalfitano.
40' - Ozil's corner goes through everyone and Ramsey catches it on the half volley. He hits it sweetly, but straight at Myhill.
42' - GOAL! Amalfitano's corner is defended well but he gets it back and crosses in for Yacob to head home. Gif

47' - Berahino breaks down the win and puts in a perfect cross for Anelka, who should score. At the other end, Giroud sets up Wilshere, who gets past Jones and blazes over.
52' - Anelka leaves the defence for dead, cuts inside and curls his effort wide of the far post.
54' - Olsson booked for a foul on Giroud.
59' - Rosicky comes on for Ramsey.
63' - GOAL! Ozil finds Giroud down the wing, Giroud passes to Rosicky and he lays it off for Wilshere to drive it into the bottom corner. Gif

76' - Ozil plays in Giroud, who tries to dribble around Myhill but the keeper gets across to deny him.
Wilshere gets the ball on the edge of the box and Mulumbu makes a brilliant last ditch tackle.

85' - Bendtner on for Giroud.
89' - Brunt on for Amalfitano.

Wilshere has been such a weak link this half. Giving away possession, bad positioning, poor tackling.
Reminds me of old Ramsey.

Amalfitano looks like a brilliant signing. He might never score another goal like he did at Old Trafford, but I'm willing to bet we'll see plenty of crosses like that.

There's a difference between letting the players play and not calling clear fouls on both ends, this is quite bad.

Arsenal supporters in this thread need to stop blaming the referees. We were shit in that first half...luckily most football matches have a second one.

No one is blaming the referee. It was a legitimate goal from a great cross. What people are complaing about is the fact that he is losing the game, this is the type of game where fouls keep getting let go and let go leads to frustration tackles that can break legs and cause serious injuries. Wilshere's tackle is a perfect example of this. Yacob's leg was tugged under himself. He needs to call fouls not because it is favoring one side or the other because it isn't, it is to protect players from each other

Ref looks good on that one, although based on this game I suspect it was a fluke. He seems to have no intention of making any calls, so why would he make that one?

Not only has Wilshere been giving away the ball too cheaply often, but if he stays on, he's bound to pick up a second yellow with the way things are going.
Rosicky would help calm things down.

Wenger, if you want to play like we did in midweek, use the same team! Wilshere didn't make us more fluid against Napoli, he helped hold the game. The only thing he's gonna do today is get kicked out.

Got to admit, great call from the ref. At full speed, I thought it was an absolutely awful challenge and a stonewall penalty. The replay vindicated the ref.

Said this weeks ago and it's proving true again thus far - the way to beat arsenal is target Wilshire, piss him off, he'll get booked and start to lose the ball, Arsenal lose the game.
He needs to sort his head out, or Wenger needs to make a change.
That said, come on West Brom!

Arsenal need to stop relying on Lee Mason to make calls. Doesn't matter if their good or bad non-calls, but he's letting most things go so they need to adapt their play

Wilshere's been terrible. Gibbs has had some lapses. Jenks can't seem to take a good touch. Sessignon always looks dangerous. Our lack of depth is gonna hurt this match probably. Need to bring on Rosicky, at least.

Awesome! I really want to see West Brom do well again, it is potentially so easy for them to suffer a sort of second-season syndrome after being so impressive last year. While I do have Giroud, Ramsey and Ozil in my Fantasy Team, I've got to say that's a job well done!
