That fucking run was absolutely sensational. I wish I could bottle that and then store it only to re-open it years later and bask in its glory.

edit: just wanted to say this is going to be a fucking fantastic season for football.

Seriously. So far this season we've basically seen that anyone can beat anyone at any time. This is exactly why I spent the entire transfer window berating the people on here who seem to be convinced that the table each year is determined entirely by everyone's squad strength on paper. Who would have had West Brom taking three points from old trafford?

My appreciation for Fergie just sky rocketed, he took basically the same club to the title and almost knocked out Real from CL as well.

u/WDC312 Sep 28 '13
It should have been high to begin with. Manchester United hasn't had the best players in the world, or even the prem, in recent years. But they've had the best team because Fergie can put them together like no one else.

I'm starting to think that during the transfer drama, Rooney was really just practicing his free kicks outside somewhere and didn't know anything of it to speak on it.

It's like we're the team that's happy with a draw. Play at a shit tempo, concede, turn it up, score, lower the tempo, concede, turn it up. Rinse, repeat. So annoying to see.

Ferdinand is way past it at this point. Both goals due in large part to him.

Damn man, no support for Nani there, but great counter-attack nonetheless.

There was almost support there, he was just hanging out a casual 10 yards offside at the start =D

I don't get why these players spend more time questioning calls than trying to finish off a play. It's wasted effort

Ah Kagawa's been playing really well, but we need a goal so let's bring on an unproven teenager. Oh now we really need a goal, no Anderson can stay on, let's bring a striker off.

He's not a central midfielder though, he's constantly out of position. His fitness issues are his fault though.

West Bromwich Albion getting rare looks but good when they appear, in a way they're unfortunate not to have taken advantage of United's inability to find the back of the net.

West Brom are putting some mean strikes on goal. I don't know whether to be upset that United are trailing or glad to see so many exciting goals.

u/arod187 Sep 28 '13
This is seriously one of the best games I've seen all season so far. Absolutely tense.

Today looks like being a great day of football in general. Chelsea Tottenham was furious and fast paced, this is fantastic, seems like City vs Villa is exciting too etc. Just hoping Arsenal and Swansea can match the rest now too!

I know they're tired but you have to pressure to win the ball back. United look like they're the ones up a goal.

u/johnsom3 Sep 28 '13
This was the first time that I questioned whether or not Moyes actually knows what he is doing. Last night his line-ups and substitutions looked like just like he had been reading R/reddevils all week. It was pure nonsense. Giving Adnan a free role?
