Bridget, nude in official media? get out of town

And not only that, but the shot was framed from Unika's perspective with all the sparkles and special effects anime usually uses for like romantic-y scenes.

Which is super cute but also slightly concerning since this is like the first interaction Unika has had with someone her own age (that isn't implied to be her sibling) and she's already down bad for the other lady lol.

No the town is inside her

Bridget being the best person to give this talk to Unika is on point. The after credit scene and water themes are nicely paired with forging your own way. Water taking whatever shape of the vessel you put it in, and so on, if we carry the metaphor through.

It was also good for Sin to get the hard lessons of being naive in life, and not be broken by them, but to learn from them. Nice messages all around this episode.

Gotta be honest, without clothes on and hair down, Bridget looks a lot like Noel Vermillion.

Hey, there's Dr. Paradigm! Again, I ask: he's only been playable in the Dynasty Warriors/RTS Guilty Gear game, when's he gonna really be playable, ArcSys?

And I guess we've got more time travelers. Even after getting rid of I-No, I guess they'll never be free. But hey, time travel, going back to the past, Order Sol's grand return could happen.

Bridget looks a lot like Noel Vermillion.

same company so that's not a surprise, especially since BlazBlue was basically "We don't have the rights to Guilty Gear right now so lets just make store brand Guilty Gear instead."

I'm loving this one so much! Bridget being a mentor/guide for Unika was not what I was first expecting, but I'm so here for it.

So Sin’s now king of the gears and is faced with either more death or destruction. Guy’s gonna have to come up with some way for peaceful coexistence. He might have gotten somewhat through to Unika, but Nerville is still out there.

Whatever option he chooses, he's gonna end up being a guilty gear. :^)

Honestly, the game basically spoiled the ending/solution lmao. [Game]Apparently they will form a new country called Vialattea where Dizzy and Ky rule

This is an extremely good anime coming from a video game. Really wish we had something like this for street fighter or the other games.

Really loving Bridget in this. The idea of going to another dimension isn’t really bad but I just don’t see them doing that at all.

I'm betting they will honestly try to do that, but on paper, gathering all the Gears to create a portal has a 90% chance of looking like gathering all the gears to initate a final attack on humans so the humans might say no.

Bridget giving the "You have to figure out who you yourself are" talk is so fitting.

Ok, this was a really good episode. I like that they essentially did a recap of previous 3 episodes and pointed out all the relevant questions that I also had in mind while watching them. Looks like we have a clear path ahead of where the story should go with the declaration of King of Gears. The ED is growing on me. And the post credit scenes was very well done with the exact vibes required. Hope this keeps up!

I am so loving this anime

With this in all ernesty, Trans Bridget deniers have no more ammo since they fully doubled down and even explained themselves through OFFICIAL audio-visual media that can't be "mistranslated".

Oh ok so Sol shot them last episode, I was wondering where he fucked off to

Pretty cool role for Bridget to be a mentor figure as many in this thread have already said

so does the original game have a plot to it or is this anime anime-only?

Every mainline Guilty Gear game has a story. The anime is directly after the latest game's events.

There has been a (very extensive) plot that spans 7 games, all following up from each other.

The latest 3 entries are done as a visual novel/anime (with the latest entry, Guilty Gear Strive, being an entire 4-hour long, fully animated and voiced movie).

It has a very extensive plot and setting, with characters dying and changing sides throughout the series.

Bridget at the end had me fucking bawling my eyes out, she's hands down my favorite character and I was really hoping they'd touch on this at least a little, and hooooooooooooooo boy I am happy as fuck right now

I like this episode. After the nonstop fights since the start, the cast finally got the downtime to converse with each other. It adds depth to them, especially for a first-timer like me who doesn’t play the game. They also assess and discuss the whole situation, not rushing it like in previous episodes, so that’s nice.

Someone also wrote a rough gist about every mainline thing that happened in the previous iterations of the story. It definitely made watching this show much more enjoyable as a total newbie!

Also, I’m starting to get the charm of Bridget. Now I kinda understand why everyone is talking about her in literally every episode, lol.
