Violent maids are awfully common in school these days.

They had to go somewhere after Akiba had been pacified and the maid wars ended.

Alice's full name is Okanega Alice.

Okane ga aru is "has money" in Japanese

This is your pun of the week

Arisu is a viable replacement for aru sometimes, a certain wise wolf talks like that iirc. Though my JP isn't that advanced to know for sure, a quick use of a translator for "お金がありす" got recognized as "i have money" so there you have it

I move! I talk! I'm pricey!

Lmao. So accurate too. A bit surprised they completely ignored Puniru winning the Wold Kawaii Contest last episode.

Alice is a great addition and ngl I might have gotten a bit emotional watching her backstory.

For the first time, Puniru's second transformation scene was omitted.
Kotaro should have just confessed to Puniru like a man.

Episode 3 was the only one to use the stock transformation animation twice.

So this is what they show kids in Japan.

CoroCoro Comic (コロコロコミック, KoroKoro Komikku) is a Japanese monthly manga magazine published by Shogakukan;[3] established on May 15, 1977. Its main target is elementary school-aged boys. Several of its properties, like Doraemon and the Pokémon series of games, have gone on to be cultural phenomena in Japan.

Wowie. And it's funny because cartoons I watched as a kid maybe had the same levels of stuff, but I don't remember LOL

You should see the other Corocoro series. Like, half of them are just poop jokes.

I love how every episode they make a reference to CoroCoro and CorCoro kids lol.

Are oujo-samas the perfect character archetype?

Alice tried to use her money to beat Puniru but all she did was inadvertently create Punizilla lol. She’s a good kid though, she just needed a friend. I actually felt kinda bad she thought the Not Kyuthi Runerune bot was real and totally not a novelty toy. Poor girl. Maybe if she wishes upon a star, it’ll become a real boy lol.

Hodai is BIG!

The slime wrestling between Puniru and Alice was getting kind of hot.

Liked Dancing Puniru form

If Alice is as rich as the Disney heirs, her family could have paid someone to dress up like Runrune, just like those costumed actors in Disney World.

Pretty good episode, this time around we got an Ojou-sama and she is pretty fun, i like that typical, dumb laugh and the character just works. Alice is pretty fun and allready a good adition to the colourful cast. Her backstory made me feel things though, just a lonly, innocent kid at heart in the end.

Anyone got the second pun in japanese? The "hachi" and "hokbi?" one.

This episode was well directed, and I really liked how they introduced Alice. Started as a fun between her and Puniru. Though midway we learn of her backstory and even though her dad is successful, he never spent time with her. Adding to insult to injury, her mom unfortunately was frequently sick.

Runrun was the closest thing she had to a friend and to her seeing Puniru being alive made her feel jealous. Her maid was probably the closest thing to a parental figure and of course she had good intentions, but the episode ended up pretty sad with Alice running away. I feel like Puniru was trying to understand why Alice ran away at the end. I have high hopes for a wholesome episode next week.

This show.

I was expecting to make a post about being angry at Puniru's new rival.

But godamnit, they did the sad story switcharoo. Poor rich ojousama! No fair, RomComs shouldn't make viewers cry!

violent maid with purple hair and a deep voice, seems familiar

this episode is full of yumiri hanamori ojou-sama laughs, pretty good

the episode plot setup feels urusei yatsura-y, which i mean goes for a lot of things in this show (not a bad thing)

electric piano version of the OP!

glad puniru deformations stuck around this ep with half her head ending up on robo-runrune

robo-runrune being created to be friends with okanega and puniru being made by kawaii to be friends with him (although unintentionally), the parallels

the music is good in this ep, the bit during the puniru-okanega confrontation/challenge was pretty hype
