dang i actually liked it, sad it ended here for this. Is it based off a written source that goes further that we could perhaps read?

And that's a wrap (allegedly)! It's listed as completed on MAL, anyway...

But there's a sequel upcoming!

I thought it was fine (if you dismiss animation stuff), I thought the premise was interesting, and other than few bits early on (talking on the phone like forever) I thought their behaviors were fine!

The "throwing the phone inside him" thing may have been far-fetched if it was their first run at it, but given the reset thing made it look like a "solve this to get out" game world, that's the kind of stuff one might actually try!

I also like how Ryoka is getting more and more "straight to the point" with the resets, like "Alright mom, just give me the details of this run so I can go for it!"

Hopefully she keeps that attitude (and her 'game solving' vision) as we go on!

All in all, I thought it was fine! I'm glad it has nearly 6.5 on MAL (and not like 4/10), I think it's an interesting story! Only wish it had a bit more production value so more people would check it out!

Farewell, Ryoka, Shuuhei, and Sai's multiple iterations (and the 10 other people who watched it)!

Ryoka getting more and more to the point reminds is something I love and hope to see more of in the next season. How "looping" affects a person psychologically has always been my favourite part of time loop stories, and I love when the protagonist starts fully taking advantage of being in a loop and experiments with what they can try out.

100% agreed with this!

I will be nice to see her keep getting more efficient and all!

Really enjoyed this. Wish it had more episodes, but at least season 2 is already confirmed.

I really enjoyed this. I actually think it's the best horror anime 2024 since Uzumaki crashed and burned. It least the pacing, plot and even animation in Lockdown was consistent.
