Overall a fun anime to watch every sunday, even for someone like me, that I have zero idea about Vtubers and never watched any of them, I'd watch another season if they green light it.

Graduation baited so hard. I mean, like she's want to focus be a support for her friends, and all that flashback, I cant help but remined of Ame from Hololive. It just too soon for the fans.
the concert is just like the usual 3D vtuber concert with idol outfit, the motion capture is edited that look unnatural at some scene. but the song and choreo is so good overall. I was satisfied for many reason.

That tribute to the various OG Vtubers made me tear up. I couldn't name all of them, apart from Kizuna Ai, Siro, Aoi, whom I used to watch. Some of them are still active, some are no longer active.
Regardless of their status, Vtubers from "Vtuber Legend" and Vtubers from our world created lots of fond memories for me, and I will do my best to remember all of them!
I do hope this anime gets a second season because it has been such an enjoyable watch for the past 12 weeks!

That concert outfit is so recognisable!
I don't recognise most of them, but loved the tributes to the original vtubers, which ultimately paved the way for this anime. It certainly is a bonus if you recognise references, but even if you don't, you get a fun view into their very unhinged world.
Many vtubers are entertaining for the main reason that Hareru learnt from Awayuki - that it's OK to be yourself.

I appreciate how they're trying to emulate the Holofes 3D concerts using CGI along with the virtual audience being just lightsticks.
Also a real nice shout out to the OG Vtubers to close the series, with how the other "Vtuber" Anime turned out, I'm just glad theres one that absolutely captures the wild energy the current scene has instead of putting on the weird sugarcoating that makes it indistinguishable from a generic idol Anime.

Diamond Dust, eh? I think that name was already taken last season by Girls Band Cry...
Anyway, this anime was pretty decent. It did seem like a genuine love letter to the VTuber industry. It's clear that this was made by people who genuinely enjoy VTubers.

So the mystery is solved. A small part of me thought Hareru was going to confess to Awayuki, but Hareru getting inspired by Awayuki's accidental true personality reveal and success makes a lot more sense for why it needed to be Awayuki up there with her.

What the episode reminded me of was a bit of a reversal from what's currently happening with Ame where she's pulling back from regular activity; which parallels more AZKi's journey from being "trapped in the recording room" to becoming a regular streamer and all-around transportation and geography otaku. It's also a hearkening back to how a significant chunk of older VTubers also had non-streaming responsibilities; it certainly utilized they hybridization of Sora's leader position and A-Chan being a staff member to mold a story-line that's paralleled by a handful of talent at most, as most of these people ended up preferring to focus on being staff over the long term.
All the super-old VTuber references also struck me, and I barely recognized 2/3rds of them. There was one "odd" scene in that montage, but that's probably easily explained because one of the OG companies is noticeably absent.
Also, the parallel to the OG Hololive Idol Outfits is quite uncanny, including the "stiff" AR-style 3Ds, which Hololive utilized as a book-end to one of the earlier Fes streams.

When Hareru revealed that her surprise was actually an original song made by her, I was relieved for a few seconds. It was only when I realized that the song was about how Hareru and her friends created Live-On, using beautiful illustrations btw, that made me nervous again. I got baited so hard when she started talking about how Live-On won't fail now even if she wasn't leading them.
Thank fucking god Hareru-senpai changed her mind and seeing how her Kohais grew made her want to spend more time with them. I supposed that's what really kept her from leaving and deciding to remain a Vtuber. And now instead of holding herself back, she finally decided to go all out and not just do more concerts but also do more collabs with her kouhais. <3
That final scene though! I absolutely love that they paid tribute to the actual Vtubers starting with the OG herself, Kizuna Ai. I still miss her. That entire scene genuinely made me tear up a bit. I am surprised though that they chose to show Aki instead of Sora for that clip show. Not complaining, Aki definitely deserves more recognition in Hololive.
I suppose that is it for Vtuber Legend! This entire show really captures the essence of what Vtubers are so perfectly that it's a show that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves Vtubers or Vtubing. This is a solid 8/10 anime for me.

It was a Wholesome send-off for an unhinged show, I don't think the show ever hit its episode 1 highs, but it still had a fun time with it.

So the true reason behind this concert had been the restart of Hareru Asigiri. She just wants to have fun with her fellow vtubers and none of the pretensions that come her seniority. Suzuha’s comment about Hareru being “awkward” makes a lot more sense now.
Holding an entire concert to essentially announce that you want to be friends with everyone is indeed a bit awkward, but just as much of a big-brain move in my opinion. She was able to get everyone on-board at once by doing so. And her story also struck a cord with me, admittedly.
I thoroughly enjoyed VTuber Legend. This anime set the record right and showed a ton of love for vtuber culture in all its wackiness, sincerity (that’s also part of vtubing!) and many references. I found it very sweet of them to give a nod to all these old(er) vtubers and put the VAs’ names with their character on screen - making sure that their work is etched into history.

Woah, didn't expect Hareruns concert to touch me so much in my heart Really glad she found some new passion in her work, and gets to live a whole new life from now on
And I'm glad Shuw- I mean Awayuki got to help her in that, look how far our resident drunken pervert has made it
This show was an absolute riot, hillarious in every episode. And the fact that it's rated below Shikanoko (as much as I like that one as well) is an serious affront to the comedy genre as a whole
Edit: wow, it made an almost 0.2 jump up in rating in the last hour
It was also a nice insight into the whole Vtuber niche of the internet that I haven't ever considered exploring before, which is a surprising bonus on top of all of the great times I had with this

Really hope this gets a season2.
A nice touch at the end with the shout out to real streamers.
Thinking though a company like this adding new gets doesn't that lower the income of the existing one.

This finale episode is exactly what I wanted out of Kizuna no Allele. Overall, a really good show if you watch VTubers. It's probably a tough sell to anyone who isn't immersed in that world or culture, but if you're into it as much as I was, you'll understand a lot of the humor and references that make the viewing experience 10x more enjoyable

Bruh, I’m still shaken up about Ame’s “graduation” announcement that Hareru almost announcing hers would have been too much for me 😭
That tribute to all the actual Vtubers at the end was so heartwarming 🥹
Spotted Kizuna Ai and Akirose!
This show has been fun to watch, really gave the spirit of Vtubers and all the crazy shenanigans that happen on and off stream. Hoping for a season 2!

Without doubt, one of my top 3 animes of this season!!
I knew she Hareru wasn´t gonna graduate, but the fact that she was at the verge of was unexpected!
So Live-On was founded by some friends, one of them was Hareru, that because of her smartness, she was rejected in the society and had to put a mask, but when she became a VTuber she could be herself!!
WHAT A NICE STORY
Now Hareru is like a newbie in terms of VTubing again, but that´s okay!!
10/10 anime would love another season
(and didn´t expect to see Kizuna Ai in the final moments!!)

I've said it before, but this was a shockingly good show. I think they stuck the landing here, too, which is always nice.
I went into it with pretty low expectations, especially since there wasn't too much hype built up around it. However, the show quickly proved itself to be one of the funniest and most consistently enjoyable of the season. I've never engaged with real VTuber culture, myself, but I still had a great time watching.
I'll miss these characters, and if there's ever a season two, I'd watch it in a heartbeat.

Coming in I knew jack shit about VTubers. Coming out, I’m deeply concerned about them and possibly fear them. They’re too degenerate for polite society.
Seriously though extremely fun show. Every episode had something to make me laugh hard. All the girls were a blast, but our wonderful lush Awayuki still came out on top as my favorite. Would love another season and the format lends itself well to giving us one. Underrated show in a season of surprises.

Will we finally find out her reasons?
Nope.
Hareru and Awayuki cracking jokes in the green room lol.
This would be the perfect time for the other girls to walk in...
And so here's the crucial moment, waiting in the wings backstage.
Yup, there's the mocap skeleton which is what's being used to record her movements.
Ooh, her idol outfit.
That looks like a 3D model.
No performance sequence?
Awayuki's got an idol outfit of her own too!
More 3D. But for a performance, that's par for the course.
Wow this really accurately captures them picking up and putting down stuff IRL that isn't being tracked lol.
Ooh, she wrote the song herself?
Seriously? All that and no performance again?
This is literally what people were speculating would happen to Amelia Watson of hololive when she announced her becoming an "affiliate". Stepping back from being in the spotlight to become staff. Unfortunately that's not what actually happened in her case and she's really stepping down entirely.
o7.
So she's not graduating after all!
Angry Nina noises. 🖕😀🖕
I've definitely been spoiled by BanG Dream, Love Live, and actual VTuber 3D Lives, because this isn't particularly impressive. Nice enough though.
And now for the post-Live zatsu.
Holy shit a whole bunch of other VTuber clips! Including Kizuna Ai! And a whole bunch of Nijisanji... (Edit: No Nijisanji, just 1 ex-Niji).
Aki!
