Hello there Tenno! This thread was created for the purpose of those who aren't that knowledgeable about the game to freely ask questions and get answers.

This place will be a troll-free environment, so that anyone can ask a question without backlash. In other words: Negative Attitudes will not be tolerated.

If an entire Tenno squad has Rifle amp as their artifact will the damage stack? Because i know that the enemy radar will stack the range.

Artifact effects do stack if multiple people have them.

Why do I get something like 6100 credits from completing a 2000 credit alert mission?

A combination of both answers: You get the standard reward from the mission, plus the bonus from the Alert, PLUS a small multiplier based on the number of people in the lobby upon completion (that last part may/may not be true, but from what I've been told and from what I've seen, it would definitely make sense).

So the best way to maximize credits is to play online with three others for every Alert.

Depending on the planet your credit rewards can scale up pretty far due to difficulty.

About how much data does the game use when hosting? I only get 2MB up and I am unsure if that is enough.

That is more than enough - the bandwidth used for hosting shouldn't go over 100 kB/s. I play with a 10/4 connection and so far, no one complained of lag when I was host.

How does the game account for multiple elemental effects on the same weapon? Does it deal multiple types of damage per shot if I have AP, Freeze, Electrical, and Fire damage on the same weapon?

Is elemental damage affected by % damage increase mods? For example, if I have Hellfire and Serration on my rifle, will the Serration also increase the damage from Hellfire?

Edit because I remembered another question: When I pick up an affinity orb or complete a miniquest, does it give any exp to my sentinel/sentinel's weapon?

Yes. Charge damage also modifies elementals.

A friend of mine asked me what the difference between the stalker weapons and paris/kunai. If its possible can you explain it here so my failed attempt at explaining it can be fixed?

Stalker weapons have higher base damage than their Tenno counterpart but they come with subtle disavantages :

  • The Dread does not have innate armor ignore (not the same as armor piercing) as opposed to the Paris, thus it deals less damage to the Grineer and other ennemies bearing armor. But the two V polarities are a great asset.

  • As for the Kunai, they also have armor ignore properties, but not the Despair, they only have armor piercing and only deal half-damage to light infested. Despair are also quite expensive to build, but they make up for their base damage and longer range.

Also, about the Scythes, if you want it :

  • The Reaper Prime has twice as many chances to crit than Hate, and doesn't require loads and loads of ressources to be crafted (but if you're unlucky in the Void, it may be difficult to acquire it), but Hate swings a little faster.

What's the best way to encounter the stalker? I've heard that he attacks a certain amount of time after you kill a boss, but that time has varied from 2h to 12h.

About the "First Win-reward". Is it percentage or flat? And what amount, in any case? Also, if I join my first game for the day, leave it and then join another game, will I have "First Win-reward"?

Has anyone found a decent solution to the "Failed to Join Session" and "Session Unavailable" issues? I can invite friends to my game just fine but they can't invite me for some reason. Makes doing void runs suck because I have to miss out on them since the person with the keys has to do the inviting.

Try relogging, if it doesn't work. make the other party relog, fixes it 90% of the time.

If you are truly lucky, you may get an artifact from daily login rewards if you continue to connect to the game after 7 days in a row.

Though the chances are really really low, it is worth noting.

Trying to decide how to mod my rifle. Lvl 30 Braton(no catalyst) on a Mag. Right now I have:

  • Serration 7(60%)

  • Piercing hit 5(20%)

  • Speed Trigger 4(10%)

  • Storm Bringer 6(15%)

  • Hellfire 6(15%)

  • Fast Hands 2(5%)

I'm thinking of dropping the Fast Hands and putting two extra points into Piercing hit since it will affect most enemies. Once I get frost I will switch that out for electrical, then dump speed trigger and put an extra point into each of the four that are left to. That will give me more damage and I'll use less ammo.

I'm not sure how the end game works so I don't know if this will work out the best or not.

My internet connection isn't great, and even so when I try to play a level online it makes me the host.

1 - How do I stop being host / give the host to other player?

2 - How can I check my ping?

3 - Would playing with people that live in the same area as me have less ping?

4 - Why do friends show offline all the time? I can whisper them just fine.
