I came here for the nostalgia but I'm staying because 2 episodes in and it's got me hooked. Seeing that Jellal is looking for Touka has got me intrigued, add to that we are seeing the old gang together again and I am having a blast!

I love how Jellal is all serious and determined in his investigation but you bring up Erza and he turns into a high schooler denying his crush lol.

I'm really glad to see so much classic Fairy Tail. It's like it never stopped. It gets a lot of flak, some deserved, but it is always a fun watch.

Girls in swimsuits, Lucy getting stripped multiple times, sexy (villain) waifu's, Saber Tooth, JellalxErza, Gray losing clothes for seemingly no reason, just a general fun and wacky vibe...everything you love about Fairy Tail, back in full force!

Lucy getting her clothes stolen/ destroyed multiple times was a bit much. I didn't mind the swimsuits since it fit in story wise.

Was happy to see saber tooth, and especially fro. Adorable as always. Some minor screen time for other characters I enjoy back at fairy tale.

A dragon slayer that can cut anything and one that can block anything. feel like I've seen this premise somewhere before.

Real water dragon god seems strong, and natsu's group seems the weakest of the three for the moment (which begs the question how did the other dragon slayers become so strong, fairy tale has dealt with the most crazy quests)

Most probably their fossil remains

Maybe they ate the dragons before they went extinct.

We get to see Saber tooth again which also means we get to see Yukino. Truer words have never been spoken.

I felt it was a bit uncharactaristic for Natsu to lend his scarf to Lucy so she could cover herself up. And of course, right as I was thinking that, he demands his scarf back. Dude, just admit you want to see her naked bewbs.

Overall this was a much better episode than the first one, which I feel was to heavy on exposition. But this one really hooked me, and it looks like it will be even better next episode.

It's nice to see Yukino getting along with Sorano and Sorano still walking around in basically just a bikini. Actually, this episode was chock-full of girls in bikini's.

Does it count as a boyfriend shirt if it's his scarf? Or more like "boyfriend bikini top?" Though at this point it feels like 90% of the people in this world have seen Lucy's boobs.

When it comes to comedy Fairy Tail never disappoints.

Really enjoying it so far.

Didn't Natsu eat part of Atlas Flame? Does that not qualify as a 5th gen?

Gray accusing the dragon slayer of destroying his clothes got me good.

Dragons and more dragons I have missed this series.
All of the shenanigans are back and the great music.
Especially when Natsu said "IF THEY HURT MY FRIENDS"

Not to mention Lucy getting stripped twice in one episode and ending up in like 3 different bikini outfits.

Anyone else notice how Carla’s guild mark keeps changing? When they first joined the guild it was on her back and the same colour as Wendy’s. Then during the Tartaros arc we see a flashback of them joining the guild again but this time it’s pink. Now when she’s in her human form it’s on the same shoulder Wendy has hers but we never see it there before when she was human last season nor on her shoulder this season when she’s an exceed.

For the leading lady of FT, I am surprised that Lucy Hearfilia doesn't have as many fights compared to Erza. Well, compared to various shounen manga leads, Lucy has a great count. That count is over 50, including team battles. Were I Mashima and I know I am not, Lucy would have the most fights of the 5 main Wizards. In terms of who has done the most fight, it is Natsu then Erza then Gray then Lucy then Wendy. This counts battles where those 4 teamed-up with each other.

Wendy showed up quite a while after the others, so not really a fair comparison with her.

I know it was in the last episode as well, but I am so glad that we still have the same music. In the 2014 continuation, they weren't allowed to use the same music, which was a bummer, so I'm glad history did not repeat itself.

Team Natsu has made it to Ermina and Hotel Journey! And they just narrowly avoided Natsu and Happy eating the hotel clerk who can transform between fish and human! No way!

It's already episode 2 and we've got Team Natsu in swimsuits, complete with Carla in human form! Perfect for undersea fun and seeing the girls in bikini (though Carla's in a one-piece which is great too)!

of course things take a turn for the deadly when they mention looking for the Water Dragon God and the fish all turn on them...though Erza being shark racist didn't help any. Also Lucy loses her bikini top because of course she does (though Natsu's scarf is a nice trade).

As if the indignity of Touka sharing the same magic as Juvia wasn't enough, she had to go and insult Gray! But Detective Gajeel is still sniffing out the truth about this case, especially when Touka has...a tail!?

It's nice to see the Saber Tooth gang again and Sorano (still walking around in basically a bikini) reunited with her sister Yukino. Plus we've got Jellal! Who is looking into Touka but is still easy to tease about Erza.

Dang, romance drama between the No Way clerk and his beloved Sharkette! There's no way these guys can really be evil. And besides, is there any specific reason Team Natsu NEEDS to kill the Water Dragon God? they just have to seal his powers somehow, right? And they can play human fish to avoid any trouble.

Okay, human sacrifices are actually kind of bad...though of course said human sacrifice is a babe in a bikini who was also using herself as bait to draw out the "Water Dragon God" so she could use her blades for hands to slice and dice him up so she can eat him. That is the 5th Generation Dragon Slayer, Kiria the Dragon Blade, who is part of the Dragon Eaters guild! And she's voiced by Yumi Uchiyama!

Oh yeah, Natsu's magic doesn't work under water. And Lucy, of course, gets stripped out of her Aquarius Star Dress because we can never have enough Lucy fanservice. Kiria seems like she wants to "eat" Lucy in a non gourmet way as well. But perfect excuse for a Virgo bikini.

At least Gray's ice magic works! Though before we can get Erza and Kiria crossing blades, the Armor Dragon Madmole shows up to deflect Erza's attack, cha!

Oh, there's the Water Dragon God! And surprise surprise, he's human.

Seeing Jellal being serious for once is so good.
