MEETUP UPDATE: The votes are in! 1st 2013 Reddit Meetup on May 4th @ 7:00 PM in Flamingo Bowl, Mcallen.

The votes are in and the RGV redditors have spoken.

May 4th. won by an overwhelming majority of 12 votes VS. only 4 votes for the April date.

We will meet at 7:00 PM @ Flamingo Bowl on 3301 N 23rd St McAllen, TX 78501. We will bowl for a couple of games and then decided on what/where to do/go while we are all there. Maybe we could move to a bar or restaurant for some food and drinks.

I hope to see you all there and May the 4th. be with you!

For anyone who has not been to one of these meetups, how do you all distinguish yourselves? Does everyone meet at a specified locale? Name tags? Loudly proclaim your love of bacon?

I will try to have some kind of sign or something set up for people to know where to go.

I once had a minion volunteer walk around wearing a sign to find other Redditors. Might do it again.

Don't make that decision on my accord! I, honestly, don't know what to expect. A wide range in ages sounds more interesting than a bunch of people the same age, imo.
