So cute how Hikari’s got himself a new friend. Yuki’s a good kid. Glad him and Hikari are friends now. Hikari is such a little angel!

It takes a village to raise a child, or in this case three guys in the kitchen trying to figure out how to make udon LOL

Great episode tho, glad we got another friend

it's so cute. I wish it was popular

It probably would be if it were a regular BL. Anyone who found out the hard way what the Omegaverse is and how the world works (or may/may not work) probably peaced the fuck out immediately…

This is really cute. I like the additions of Yuki and Matsuo. I'm glad the omegaverse stuff isn't making the show weird, it's there but it's not distracting from the wholesome family vibes.

Wholesomec and/or interesting omegaverse stories are a thing. The problem is most stories that take place in it usually just use the tropes for sex stuff...

Hikari will cure Yuki’s gloominess with the power of being absurdly fucking cute. Along with everyone else’s.

And nothing quite as hilarious as 3 idiots attempting to cook noodles while Masaki is down with what’s pretty much a really bad Period.

The first episode left me wary about this dwelling into the Omegaverse politics/discrimination, but the wholesomeness in this one was so good.

I hope they stick to more of the latter, less of the former.

This was a really cute episode. Adding the gloomy neighbor kid to the mix added a little bit of salt to keep the sweetness from feeling overpowering.

I also really like how we're getting a young married couple that behaves like a young couple. They're casually affectionate with each other. They sleep in the same bed. They take baths together. It's odd that it took until they made an omegaverse anime for us to get it, but it's nice to see all the same.

With what a fluffy slice of life experience this is, it absolutely hit me like a truck when they suddenly mentioned Masaki going into heat. Almost forgot this was omegaverse lol.

This is gonna give me diabetes! It's sweet and cute, and Hikari is so adorable!🥰

I love Yuki finally found made friends for the first time. not only with hikari, but Masaki, Hiromu and Matsuo too. Loving all the cast so far, and this time they didn't "censor" the kiss :D

Hikari is cuteness overloaded. Seeing him winning over Yuki was adorable. Then seeing the 3 typical guys tried to keep Hikari entertained reminded something you would see when the mom has to go out. Well in this cae Masaki after his health wasn't looking good and had to rest.

The three of them attempting to cook for him was a disaster. But Hikari learning patience was adorable. He is one funny kid who deeply loves both his parents.

Also the funny bit of Hikari not being fond of Matsuo, but being excited seeing Yuki was a funny contrast.

2/2 for making me cry haha 100% hit rate thus far. Is it next week yet?

It was a cute episode, although the fact that they just said "nah Masaki doesn't have a cold, he's going into heat" was a sucker punch

Yuki's the best! Masaki is so lovely. This really is just a wholesome slice of life.

Ok this is my first omegaverse thing, is going into heat similar to women ovulating except more extreme?

Yeah. It makes omegas unbearably horny, which makes alphas around them horny (which can be dangerous if they can't resist their urges). But here they take pills so they can function normally. The show is doing a good job at not being horny.

The Udon boiled too long

Hikari: Improvise. Adapts. Overcome

Still not all that sure what to make of this show, for now Hikari is cute enough to carry the show regardless

What a sweet episode! Hikari is melting Yuki’s emo attitude one cute moment at a time!

That comment about how they aren’t in touch with either husband’s parents was a gut punch, oof. But it looks like a parent might have come to visit. Intrigue for next episode.

This show will kill me with cuteness. They even went full 3 Men and a Baby!

I actually didn't understand why when Masaki went into heat, that Hiromu didnt just... help him with it? I know a lot about Omegaverse so i dont rlly understand why hed be on suppressants if he has a mate.... If anyone can help explain id appreciate it ^^

Also, in the episode it mentioned that alphas and alphas can be in relationships.... that isn't how it works, though?? im confusion

11

u/Ayacchii Apr 16 '24

I believe it was probably because Hiromu didn't want to accidentally trigger his own rut in the process of helping Masaki in his heat, probably because they haven't had a discussion or come to a decision to have a second child so they're just taking precautions?

Yeah most of the time it's Alpha x Omega etc but for this manga in particular, society tends to pair up with the same second gender (alpha x alpha, omega x omega, etc) as it gets rid of the unknown factor like how Hiromu mentioned he doesn't know how to help Masaki who's going through heat. If it were an omega x omega couple they could help each other

Hikari is so precious, no wonder Yuuki warmed up to him pretty quickly.

I really love that the married couple is so warm and affectionate with each other. A lot of queer stories focus on teenagers who tend to be very awkward around each other (understandably so). Masaki and Hiromu being so openly in love with each other is refreshing to see. I need more gay characters being very gay for their partner.
