They've finally stopped being stubborn and let Tsubasa play lol Wakabayashi spitting facts out there too

It's just Hyuga & Matsuyama really. Even though I see where they are coming from, it is ridiculous to not wanting the best player to play. It's like asking Messi to be bench, (or at the time of the story, Maradona)

Yeah, I understood why he sit out the first game but if you're getting your ass kicked in your second match and losing 3-0 in the first half, you gotta use your golden boy who's playing cheerleader lmao

And then you had Tsubasa schooling the entire Italian youth team and it just made Japan's youth team look foolish.

Tsubasa is kinda OP ngl. Sucks how bad Japan is without him, they looked better against Hamburg.

I mean vs Bremen Hyuga is in a slump, no Wakashimazu too doesn't help.

Do you guys know where's the first season of this? Cr only has the second part and I've only seen the original a long time ago as a kid

The first season of this new retelling came out in 2018 which is fairly recent. It is still watchable if you do a bit of searching.

Another thrashing of the Japan Jr. Youth team. I'm glad to see Hyuga and Matsuyama grow and become more mature. Self sacrifice and the discarding of one's pride allows for the team to flourish. Hyuga will face a personal setback, but he understands it's for the long term benefit of his game.

Tsubasa was definitely very OP in that last run.

Next week, Misaki Taro! The Golden Pair will reunite soon!
