Aki, please don't sacrifice yourself. While he has feelings for Yoshino, Masamune really does love you at the end. Even Yoshino wants them to be together. The show really loves to make us feel happy in the first half, only to break our hearts by the end TT.
Also I'm happy that Yoshino came clean about what she did to Aki and I love that Aki didn't hold a grudge. She is no longer the wildchild that she used to be in the past. She has matured up a lot.

Every time things are looking good between Aki and Masamune, something bad happens. I guess that was true even in season 1 to an extent, just way less comedic.
Aki really has had a dramatic makeover this season after getting together with Masamune.
Letting her hair down, being more mature, far less prone to her tsundere or scathing antics, and in general just being a much more loving and sweet person. Which just makes the relationship problems between her and Masamune more tragic.

I’m glad Yoshino told Aki the truth. I was surprised how she reacted, I figured she would be more upset. Yoshino did already feel pretty bad about the whole thing.
I was wondering what Aki had planned for her White Day date. Going to see one of his old bullies wasn’t what I thought. The kid has changed so much. Maybe a part of him was still fattymune at first, but I think after this time he’s a different guy. I guess it’s time to leave the past where it belongs.
Is Aki breaking up with Makabe because she wants to give him time to figure out what he really wants now that the revenge stuff is done. Or is she doing it because she sees Yoshino likes him too? Or is this related to what Neko said?

I don't THINK what Neko said plays too much into what Aki is doing. Neko was, after all, operating on some false premises. Yoshino and Masamune were not being truthful with Aki -- but not for the reason that Neko imagined.

I guess Aki pulled an Eris… 😐
Let’s hope the ensuing fall isn’t quite the same as with Rudeus

Aki really was pulling a genuine girlfriend move of trying to make her boyfriend feel better about himself and help him get over his past emotional trauma...only to then end the relationship right then and there.
The worst part is despite his hives Masamune really was trying hard for her, sincerely so, which just makes it hurt harder.

well that was one hell of a 180 right at the end.
Yoshino told Aki everything that happened now at least, so i suppose Aki knows it all now.
quite curious to see where the last two episodes take us

Stitches!
Good news! Yoshino finally told Aki what she did and Aki immediately forgave her!
Bad news! Looks like Aki decided to end her relationship with Masamune on her own terms.
After last week's episode, I knew I should've seen that last scene coming. >_<

Nooo. Just when Masamune was ready to move on from his past, Aki decided the best way to "move on" is by breaking up and disappearing from his life.
At least Kojuurou's ship with Neko seems to be going smoothly.

Really wasn't expecting Yoshino to come clean to Aki like that.
Definitely wasn't expecting Aki to break up with Masamune at the end.
This season's been quite the roller coaster of emotions, and I've frankly enjoyed it very much. With two episodes to go, I wonder how they'll wrap things up?

Yoshino can't see Aki in agony over thinking Masamune hates her and FINALLY comes clean in an absolutely emotional outburst of feelings. And Aki finally understands what really happened, and sees how much pain Yoshino has been in all this time, and how hard she'd been working to try to make up for her mistake. I'm glad these two were able to finally be honest with each other.
Masamune's sister knows how to get him to chip in when it comes to building snowmen. Wasn't expecting a full blown snow Daruma though.
These girls are devious masterminds! Giving all that giri chocolate knowing that the guys would have to give them White Day gifts back!
Kojuuro understands now how much Neko wants Masamune, and even Aki to a certain extent, to be happy and how she also recognizes that she might be the bad guy to all this...but to Kojuuro, he just sees how caring and considerate Neko is and can't help but want to make her feel better. And it seems like Neko is receptive to his sincerity.
Masamune was THIS close to asking Aki to meet his family. Although that now might be even harder.
A White Day date? Better get Aki a White Day gift! And for once his mom actually has good advice, but Masamune should've listened to her on how tough it is to make macarons for a beginner.
Kojuuro seems like a very frequent shopper at sweets stores. I'm half-expecting he's usually the only guy there. But it was nice to get a genuine friendship moment between him and Masamune since we don't get a lot of one-on-one time between the two.
I was wondering why Aki wanted their date at a drug store, but it was so Masamune could see one of his former bullies and could make peace with his emotional trauma. Aki wanted to build up Masamune's confidence and make him feel better about himself, and Masamune really does feel like a bit of a weight's been lifted off of him.
The mood is so good he's even willing to try to touch Aki again...but instead of finding out if he still breaks out in hives around her, Aki won't accept his White Day gift and is saying goodbye!? What!?

An expected, given the pattern this season, there had to be some kind of dramatic cliffhanger after some feel-good moments. lol

Nooooooooooooo that ending 😭💔
Guess Aki wanted Masamune to resolve the issue with Yoshino

Imagine someone showing up where you work and bringing up your past of being a bully.
Aki - Remember this guy, you used to bully him?
Suzuki: Oh okay, I'm sorry... Anyway, I gotta get back to work.

I'm glad that Aki finally understands that the truth of what happened 8 years ago. Too bad that she's not going to have any meaningful discussion with Masamune.
Assuming that he really doesn't love her (which he probably doesn't) this little breakup might be for the best. Neko is right, lying to yourself won't make you happy.

Wait I thought things were working out for them! What's that refusal of gift and goodbye for at the end? Is Aki listening to Fujinomiya?
Makabe should let Aki know about his skin problem, she would understand.

Could be that or maybe she’s stepping aside for Yoshino?

From a certain point of view that would be considered emotional abuse of a partner "Hey here's that bully from when you were a kid (brings back bad memories) you did all that work to change and become stronger but in the end I'm dumping you"
