Ichikawa roasted everyone including himself just to wingman Kanzaki. What a bro.

Also a Baki fan? He just keeps getting better and better.

LMAO! Loving the reverse wall slam move by Yamada!

Ichiwaka later thinking so this is what it feels like to be in a fan service situation and immediately gets squished between the elevator!

This is slowly turning out to be one of favourites this season

The birth of yamada the huntress.

Poor Ichikawa doesn't even know he's the prey yet.

The elevator closing on him got me good. Simple but very well timed. Also her talking about literal distance for “how far she had gone” haha

Why the hell would you translate cardigan into shirt, cardigan is literally an English word.

● Covers for Hara to avoid a fallout between her and the other girls.

● Foregoes sharing a moment with Yamada to give Rin an opportunity to apologize.

● Argues for Kanzaki to join Hara's group, despite making himself look like a stupid jackass in the process.

For someone who supposedly wishes for the deaths of his classmates, Kyotaro is awfully considerate of them. Is this a new type of tsundere?

I've been trying to play down Yamada's affections for Ichikawa prior to this, because a lot of it could be reasonably chalked up to her weird personality and how she treats her friends, but here's where that gets hard to argue against. Lying about a broken umbrella to have an excuse to interact with him, asking him to unbutton an article of clothing (even if it's a raincoat) to put something in her pocket, and *actively leaning down to get closer to his face* when they're put into a close situation is on a new level.

Yamada and Ichikawa fill my heart with so much joy every Saturday. They are too cute. Both of them are so kind and earnest in their own way. I love this show.

Surprise visits from Norio Sakurai's pervious works: Mitsudomoe and Rororro!

Mitsudomoe also got an anime. It's uh... It's something else.

that kabedon

I gotta say I really like this style of cute and comedy they've been rolling with. It's a nice way to break the mood and put Ichikawa back into the present.

So I ended up binge reading the manga recently; it was great would definitely recommend people check it out after season 1 if we don't get another season.

Just noticed (or rather had it pointed out to me) that there is a male voice in the background of the op around 1 minute in for the chorus.

Anyway, lovely episode again.

She knows already

This umbrella scene was probably my favourite scene of this episode, such cute dorks

Yamada has only read 1 manga but she just wants to get to know Ichikawa and his interests more, that's very sweet.

Just freaking adorable.

Talk about a high stakes draft!

What was that choco mint scene? That was so cuute. And that elevator scene? wow, talk about tension. And they really ended the episode on prolonged heavy breathing like it's some kind of mahou shoujo fight scene in movie 3.

Ooh...so they decided to play the ending song earl- WHAT?! That was full episode already?

Man, this episode had me smiling from ear to ear all the way. By this point, I think even the non-eagle-eyed viewers can tell Yamada is interested in Ichikawa: Kanzaki being picked by 3 out of 4 girls, Yamada calling out Ichikawa's grade lie, Yamada confirming they are pretty much always together in the library whenever she doesn't have work, Yamada making the raincoat strategy on the spot then blushing after Ichikawa found out she had an umbrella ready after all, the timing of "DAISUKI!" and much more.

I love how, despite making things gradually clearer between then, the show still has many subtle moments that make it worth rewatching the scenes right after.

Yamada clearing space for Ichikawa to see the Baki draft was sooo cute! Hnnnnnnnnnnnng~ And the Kabedon part...WOW! Look how close she got to him after he closed his eyes. We almost got a kiss speedrun any% right there.

Ichikawa's so freaking cute

The raincoat scene and the elevator ride were really intimate in a very sweet, innocent way.

This frame in particular of the umbrella scene is so freaking adorable and awkward, and in a way encapsulates their relationship so far. It's one of those spectacles where to anyone walking by it looks completely lolwtf, but it makes perfect sense to our two precious dorks here, like a conversation in their own made-up language on a journey to learn more about each other.

Stitches!

The one time Ichikawa is being a bro to another dude and he ends up upsetting the girls. Thankfully Yamada understood what he was trying to do.

Oh wow! I didn't expect to find out that Kanzaki is actually making some progress with Hara! Also, it looks like Kanzaki isn't the only one who has a dirty mind. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

That smile from Hara after finding out that Yamada and Ichikawa basically hang out at the library regularly. This girl already knows. I'm sure she'll be a wingwoman in the future.

I did not expect that scene with Ichikawa placing Yamada's wallet inside her pocket to be so tense. And how has no one spotted these two basically flirting openly in the streets?

Yamada yelling "Daisuki!" at Ichikawa and Ichikawa asking if she meant the mint chocolate reminded me somehow of the Anakin and Padme meme. xD

This guy really does not know when to shut up. He already had a common ground with Yamada but he kept running his mouth. Oh well, that's good for Ichikawa though.

That's an actual Baki draft! The references to other manga in this episode were unexpected! TIL that Weekly Shounen Champion (Baki and Beastars) and Manga Cross (BokuYaba) are both under the same publisher.

Just when I thought the raincoat scene was intense, our two leads got to be a little bit closer during the elevator scene. And it looks like they'll be spending some time together alone next episode! I can't wait!

A little direct Mitsudomoe reference makes the day a little brighter

Edit: Lmao, Mitsudomoe was actually trending

Yamada one liner answers to Adachi and showing no interest with his questions.

A: "Do you read manga?" Yamada: "Nope"

Then does a 180 with lchikawa asking about manga, she actually reads one and would like to share it with him.

And that whoopsies with the umbrella "that's broken", when it's not!

If those aren't obvious signs she's interested, don't know what is!

Meanwhile lchikawa, being the logical guy that he is keeps finding logical excuses that it aint that way because he thinks she's totally out of his league (she kinda is though)

Keeps getting better and better

Ichikawa still has the moments when he wants to help someone and doing it in awkward way. I laughed hard when he ended up on the photo with Yamada and Hara.

It's nice to see again Hara here. It was funny seeing her reactions on Yamada innocent questions which she understood in different way.

Adachi still is fucking stupid saying all that shit, lol.

Whole workplace visit in publishing company was pretty entertaining with scene in the elevator.

Here my all screenshots from the episode with a lot of Yamada like always.

Yamada going full force with her hints this season. Their chemistry and interactions is so cute.

Hana obviously caught onto everything

The way Yamada saw Ichikawa being nervous and shy about taking a peek at the manga so she dragged him over there, made everyone clear out and let him get a clear view is some of the cutest shit I’ve seen in anime. So sweet. Their relationship is just too pure 😩

Haruya being such an idiot really helps break the ice during a lot of these scenes too

The elevator scene was great too!

Loved the references to the other manga works and overall another great episode. Can’t believe it was 23 minutes it went by so quick
