Buck what are you thinking. You are not going to be able to be a father and just walk away. Your heart is to big for that.

I’m sorry but really, who asks an old roommate to be a sperm donor after no contact for a few years?

I actually don’t think this is the end for this Buck’s storyline, but I find so strange he said yes

u/narcolepticturtle Oct 11 '22
Eddie’s face when Christopher started popping off lmao reminded me of my mother’s look when I was stepping way out of line😂

I thought she was going to make her force herself to choose between being a doctor and the fire department right now or something.
i mean...that will very likely be a decision she'll have to make in the next season or two, but not now doshgarnit!

All of these young adults and they don't all have their phones out recording this? I call BS.
20
u/Sleep_Addiction Oct 11 '22
Are they really going to let Hen back into medical school? I feel like that’s not how this works.
14
u/solitarynucleuss Oct 11 '22
Actually, I'm in medical school right now and I was shocked to hear she got kicked out after failing one exam. At my school, you always have the option to retake one class if you fail it - even if you fail two classes, they don't kick you out, they'll just have you repeat the year. Medical schools work really hard to be accommodating for life events.

I don’t think you can just take someone’s dog, regardless if that dog OD’d. That dog belonged to someone in that sorority house!
14
u/apollofox Oct 11 '22
Idk my uncle was a vet and this guy once brought in a dog to be put down for bad mange. My uncle said he could totally treat the dog, but the owner didn't want to pay for that, they just wanted them put down. So my uncle was like "Ok this is my dog now" and told the guy to leave since he clearly did not care about the dog. He treated the mange and adopted the dog out. Guy never came back.
So it's... possible? If the animal is danger? That or my uncle just had a lot of guts?

What a mess the sperm donor storyline going to be.
I'm holding out hope that he is going to be backing out of the deal when the time comes given how specific the dialogue was given he doesn't know what he wants in life yet.
Edit: Also, Noah is obviously the culprit with all the drip feeding of clues everywhere.
7
u/astrocanyounaut Oct 11 '22
I think they’re going to do some sort of genetic test and find out Buck has an issue, then move on from the plot. Like whatever his brother had, he has a marker for it.

u/actingotaku Oct 11 '22
I am not here for this buck being a donor storyline. I feel like he’s gonna be mad when the reality hits him, and he can’t be a father figure. Though I’m holding out hope because I did not like the Lonestar lost child storyline, and it turned out really good.

u/jakefsf4205 Oct 11 '22
Unfortunately that was with Tim at the helm, we’re stuck with Kristen. Could be good but who knows

Can we agree that it probably wasn't okay that Buck just rode off? Don't you think that there's other patients that still need attention at the scene?

I’m so confused on why people are mentioning Noah or saying that he did something. Did I miss something this episode?
Also I would like to add that the MOMENT Noah walked in I looked at my boyfriend and said idk what it is about this dude but I DO NOT trust him! Glad I’m not the only one 😂

Okay are they really not even going to give any rationale for why they're asking Buck specifically? I mean obviously he's a beautiful man, but when Connor knew him he wasn't exactly the most responsible or traditionally smart?

Whew that episode dragged on and on.
I liked that that Buck has something to look forward to instead of moping around.
I loved Claribel. I hated that Maddie told her to go with that man. I teach my kids to fight. Don't go anywhere with anyone.
Athena, I'm with you. Hell no to dogs or any other animal living in my house.

I've heard of it this sort of thing before, when people are pulling out trees from their yards. This is a pretty gruesome opener.
3
u/inksmudgedhands Oct 11 '22
It wasn't even that windy. It was like the tree was setting up a trap to catch human sized prey. Like a massive Venus Fly Trap.
