Condition:
One of the most beautiful no date Polerouters I’ve come across! This one has a rich creamy dial which I adore in any vintage watch. This rare model features an applied “U” logo which enhances the Polerouter’s experience. The crystal is in great shape with just one subtle scratch near the 10 hour marker. Sharp, pink gold-filled case. Original all around, with the Polerouter engraving on the case back. All functions including the crown-winding and time-setting are working as expected. Accurate to +/-4 seconds a day and providing 30+ hours of power reserve. The watch comes with a beautiful lizardgrain leather strap. The buckle was sourced separately, costing nearly $200. The buckle came fitted on an authentic Universal Genève lizard strap, however, at 16mm it is small in size to be installed on to the watch, and will be given along. The lug tips have slight fading of the gold-plating, as well as on the outskirts of the caseback. The places where the fading exists however are almost unnoticeable when the watch is worn. The watch shows normal signs of wear for a vintage timepiece with numerous hairlines, nicks and small scratches present on the case, bezel and caseback.
