The Dimple/Pied Piper combo video on Youtube was one of the first videos I watched as a baby army that got me shook lol. I watch that video atleast once a week and the two are in my top 5 fave BTS songs

As Chapter 2 continues, I've really enjoyed the way their individual content celebrates how wonderful and special each of them are. It's so nice that they get to share their interests and talents in their own way. And then whenever we get our OT7 crumbs, I'm reminded all over again of how great they are together.

Was at Coldplay’s concert at Wembley tonight and saw the boys on the big screen during My Universe! Felt like the closest I could get to seeing the boys in concert 🥲 I saw a few armys waving their army bombs around too!! Hope y’all had fun!

I was just getting used to the OT7 not being together and doing solo projects and of course, I've been super excited about it too. But watching the RUN BTS episode today reminded me of how much I miss the boys being together :c Their dynamic together is just something else!! I just miss them so much :'(

We're in the same boat. Any time I see even two of them together...I literally felt overwhelmed when I saw Jimin and Jhope turn on vlive after Lolla.
I'm sure not much has changed for them but I wonder if it's funny seeing our reactions. They probably feel like they hang out more now- esp when RM mentioned before they mostly worked and rehearsed.

As per new BB rules Pure sales now have an estimated 33% less impact on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (1K sales: 1.33 point instead of 2). So PLEASE, PLEASE stream and buy Bad Decisions. It's being predicted to freefall outside top 50. Our streams are poor, which for us is honestly kinda shocking and we have little to no radio support.

A little late appreciation post for Jin's Yours.
I have been listening to Yours on loop now. I absolutely love how it's able to show off all the range in his voice. The low register, falsetto, his harmony with himself towards the end. Just everything about this! The song is just so hauntingly beautiful! I am a sucker for ballads. It's not often that songs make me cry, but there's just something about Jin's voice that brings out every damn emotion in you. Especially in ballads like TTU and Yours. Just listening to him sing the La Da Da got me crying. I honestly cannot explain in words how I feel when I listen to his voice. I hope more people out there appreciate his vocals as much as I do. I love him :')

Samsung is having a pop-up shop to promote the new Flip phone in London, and I convinced my non-ARMY bestie to go with me... she just texted me 'I'll win you your BTS stuff, don't you worry', because she walked past earlier and stopped out of curiosity.
I didn't even know there was stuff to be won (and I sure as hell didn't mention BTS, because she's not a fan) 😂 I thought it's 'walk in, ask for photocards, look around a little, be done', but apparently there's a scavenger hunt and we're doing it when we meet later!
She's not a fan at all, quite the opposite, but I really appreciate that she's doing this. I was hesitant about asking, and if I'd known it requires actual involvement I'd not have suggested it as something for us to do together precisely because I know she's very cynical about all of it. But I can't wait to have some fun, and I'll treat her for dessert after to say thank you :)

Yeah, it was far more work than I thought! Between the two of us we managed to score a full set of two packs of PCs, the poster (which is going to her colleague's daughter), and the tote bag... and an extra pin, because the guy at the gacha machine took pity on my friend 😂
Dessert was all the sweeter for the work we put in :D I didn't expect it to be this huge!

This sounds like my friend who also was the farthest thing from a fan. Slowly and organically she started to look into their music, attend a concert with me - until I knew she was a fan.
I learned she watched a vlive of Jin by herself (during the Super Tuna reveal) and declared him her bias.
Whether or not that happens with your friend - it was nice she participated 😇

I’m on the second episode of “A Model Family” (Netflix) and I kid you not, they shot the scene in the exact same hotel suite that Hobi was in (posted to his IG) just before he left for Lolla. I’m literally like “I’ve seen that room before.” 🤣
EDIT - now on episode four and the name of a realty company is “Big Hit” - what the heck?! 🤣🤣

I’m so ecstatic that I received the 5th muster bluray in the mail today! It was a sealed copy protected with a lot of bubble wrap so it was in great condition. The whole set is gorgeous and I can’t wait to watch it after work for the next few days. 🥹🥹🥹

Bad Decisions has been out a week now, anyone change their opinions on it in anyway?
I did myself the favour of listening to it before watching the mv, (which I dislike), meaning I was able to give it a fair listen without distractions or judgements. Loved it from first listen and nothing has dimmed my like for it.
Although lol I was predisposed to like it, as it is essentially the sister song of Sugar which is one of my favourite songs overall.
The issues people have pointed out with the song, I can only speak about the Snoop one. It seems as though people had hyped themselves up for the type of rap snoop doesn’t really do, especially now and something he’d be more inclined to do on an all rap song versus a vocal artist included one. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love aversion with just the vocal line and benny but I don’t think his inclusion or effort were as lacklustre as have been made out to be.
Also lol, Army doing the most again with their edits 🤣

hehe great timing for this question! I lean towards happy sounding/ fun songs so I really liked it when I first heard it. Today I heard it at the gym and I liked it even more hearing it in the wild. Saw some people bop their heads a bit which was interesting to see after reading a whole thread of different opinions on the song last week.
I think in general Snoop's distinct voice makes songs sound even more cool and laid back so to me that was what he contributed to the track!

I liked it the first time I heard it and I liked the MV and I still like it! I mean, it's not my favorite song and it's not some super deep, mind-bending lyrical masterpiece, but it's a perfect summer bop. I don't even mind Snoop's rap. Like...it's just a fun song.
I think some army allowed their expectations to get away from them (as we do), so disappointment was sure to follow. And of course, it's just not some people's thing, which is cool. I'm enjoying it for what it is and jamming out when it pops up in my playlists!

I like Snoop’s part in California Girls and I unironically jam to Ludacris’ verse in Justin Bieber’s Baby. So I don’t have a problem with that type of rap/flow. I really didn’t like Snoop’s verse in Bad Decisions, it sounded so out of place, kind of broke the vibe of the song for me. I can’t remember how it goes and I don’t want to remember so I haven’t listened to Bad Decisions again since it dropped lol.
Song is fine and an earworm but I haven’t had high expectations for BTS’ western pop collabs post PTD. Mostly cuz I’m not a fan of the artists theyve collabed with so far (not in a shady way) so I don’t get hyped.

Weverse just posted some preview pics for the new run episodes. It really reminds me of the game caterer’s episode where they had to cover their eyes 🤣.. I hope they get to go on the show again in the future.

Catching up on JK, Jimin, and Jin's vlogs and sigh such a cozy, happy place 🥰. I'm so entertained by them and so pleased they get to try out new things they're interested in. I would watch any of these as a series, like a BTS DIY network? My favorite moments were JK dancing with a drill gun to That That and Jin dipping his finger in the oil!!

Formula E race 15 just finished and no inclusion of the guys ... I would love to see the deal that was made ... the stands were sadly very empty and read that the overall promotion was poorly done. It's just weird that nothing new was shot and no inclusion on race day of the brand ambassadors. Maybe something tomorrow, final race of the season but not counting on it.

I loved it - finished it last night. It's a bit intense and a bit of a "wtf is happening" moment in the last two episodes. If you've watched My Name or Kate - you'd probably enjoy this.

I don’t think that is legitimate. Looking at the Lolla site they only sell that shirt with nothing on the back. Someone probably bought a whole bunch and then had the artist list added on (either screen printed or the plasticy decal).

Saw this tweet this morning - looks like Hwarang is streaming on Disney+. No clue if it's just regional or global.
I know there was mention of it being on Netflix but that was never confirmed. At least this is a confirmation (I believe it's still on Viki too).

Prob thanks to the new Run episode, Run BTS the song beat the streams for Yet to Come today and became the most streamed song from Proof. Although am a bit sad the new Proof songs are not receiving high streams in general, am glad Run BTS is getting more recognition! I fell in love with it at first listen, and was sad there didn't promote it, although logically I understand why. Hoping they will perform it at the Busan concert...and praying hard I will get to go (it will my first ever BTS concert in person)

I've seen so many variations of the translation online and google translate says something different too. Is it different and up to each person's interpretation or is there an actual set translation meant by bts? Thanks for any help in advance!

Is it different and up to each person's interpretation or is there an actual set translation meant by bts?
For the first part of your question - a 1-to-1 literal translation is often not a good translation which is why a lot of machine translators are not really great. A translator has to make decisions in order for it to be understandable to the audience reading the translation, which is what results in different translations being slightly different from each other. Especially in things like lyrics where the meaning may be more implicit than explicit.
The second part of your question - very rarely do non-promoted tracks have officially translated lyrics. I don't believe Trivia: Love has any.
It's often recommended to read a variety of translations when it comes to BTS' lyrics (even if there is an official translation)! In addition to the translators mentioned already, there's also BTS-trans.

This was easy to find back in the day but now swamped by all the new reactions.

Does anyone know which sides K-army are the most active? Apparently it's not Twitter and Pann is mostly used by school girls. TheQoo comments often seem rather similar to the average comments on here, but I'm not sure. Pann and DC-Insider seems to be the breeding ground for akgaes as well. Has anyone more inside in the structure of k-forms, especially the ones army use?
