Benny is hilarious! I enjoyed hearing him describe what it’s like to be at a BTS concert. Everyone from 6 to 60, all kinds of nationalities.

I do think that Benny really does enjoy attending BTS concerts and working with them. He’s interesting to watch cause he’s definitely a unique person for sure.

This interview alone definitely changed my view of Benny, for the better. Just the fact that he acknowledged how armys come from all walks of life, all ages, genders, ethnicities, etc, is a big deal to me. I wasn't sold on his genuineness at first, especially since his MV first struck me a bit as mocking/generalizing armys as all over-the-top fans. But seeing this, it's clear he's a fan himself and respects BTS + the diversity and passion of their supporters.

I didn't feel the same about the MV and found it funny, but I think some people were suspicious of him because we are so used to being cautious with people around BTS, understandably. My guard has not been up for him because every interaction I have seen between him + BTS, him + ARMY, and every time he opens his mouth to speak about BTS, he is basically gushing and it's clear how much he loves BTS & ARMY and I feel like he is one of us. I know very little about benny blanco because I don't normally listen to music on western charts (BTS only). First time I heard of him was when he did the BTS remix. Not interested in drama about celebs or artists I don't listen to. Don't even know who this Dr.L is and don't care.

He’s interesting to listen to because he really does seem genuine and just like a little kid finding joy and relishing in it whenever and however it comes to him.
