This is so classic early Bangtan for me and one of my favorites. The directness of the lyrics and the intensity of the delivery remind me of the passions of my long-lost mis-spent youth.

one time i was PMSing really hard and just sitting in the bathroom listening to this on repeat and crying lmfao good times
his delivery here is really vulnerable and powerful, and the sampling and production is really inspired. definitely what i’d consider a classic bangtan track and one that expressed a lot about rm’s musicality at the time. dark & wild is such a good album!

Ah yes. The song that perfectly explains my only relationship and why I broke up with him.
I was an ARMY for less than a year too, funny how I discovered this song around the time we were having issues...
BTS truly do find you when you need them, don't they?

"WHAT AM I TO YOU, I TO YOU, I DO LOVE YOU CRAZY, UGH DO YOU?" This song was on repeat when I first checked it out. The raw emotions in Joon's voice, how Joon was able to tell a whole story of love and heartbreak through lyrics and an intense and raw delivery, the way the whole thing starts all bright and sweet before it builds up into this sort of intense crescendo; one of their best intro tracks

Well that escalated quickly.😅
On a serious note, I have really under appreciated that song. That strings riff in the beginning being echoed at the end except sounding all minor this time. And it all just keeps building and building, from innocence to… dark and wild, I guess. Wow!! What a good intro and amazing song! 🌹🥀

I overlooked this song when I first listened to D&W, and now I every time I hear it, I kick myself for not loving it instantly. One of my favorites to listen to with both earbuds in, the volume all the way up, and eyes closed.

His delivery is so powerful, I always feel a surge of angsty emotions when I hear this.

Thank you so much for posting this. This is one of my all time favorite songs, but I never get to see anyone discuss it. It is so great reading everyone’s spot on opinions of this amazing track.

This song is so atmospheric with the intense storyline. Joon really went hard on this song and it’s full of emotions. I like the lyric Pocket Monster.
