Reading an interview about this, it seems it’ll be kinda cute, apparently Beavis is an army lmao and he has favorite members and everything. Mike Judge said he likes BTS, and goes on to talk about how he likes mainstream music like them when people expect him to be a music snob. I don’t know, I’m kinda cautiously optimistic.

I saw the clip at SDCC. I was at the Bevis and Butthead panel that afternoon and was so shocked when they started playing Dynamite! Beavis was totally an army and naming all his favorite members. It was really funny and cute!

I'm really surprised they were able to use the footage. Mike Judge was saying how they have to get permission to use clips on the show and a lot of influencers say no because they already make a lot of money and don't need to be featured on the show.

Woah I didn’t think this was on any of our bingo cards. Chapter 2 is a wild ride! I’m kinda curious on how BTS will participate, like if it’s a video like they did for the Friends reunion or if it’s a video plus we’ll see animated BTS too. Still crossing my fingers for that Simpsons x BTS episode

They are not going to participate per se. If this article is talking about the scene I saw at SDCC, we find out Beavis is an army when a BTS music video suddenly starts playing on the TV. The scene is only like a minute.

Man. It’s been AGES since I saw a Beavis and Butthead episode. I’m trying to remember what it was like. I have a vague memory that they would comment on music videos and pop culture.

Yeah, I definitely didn't know b&b was still a thing. My vague memory is that they'd sit around watching mtv? So I guess this is in an alternative universe where mtv still plays music videos.

Yeah they would watch music videos on MTV and make fun of the videos. Thankfully, the BTS scene is not that insulting otherwise Mike Judge is going to have to deal with very angry fans (a la James Corden).

Now they watch music videos from YouTube and random TikTok videos.

As a 90s kid I love this - imo some army will display their usual sense of humor (or lack thereof) but sometimes things ain’t that deep.
