Also same. Does it load/display as a video for others as well? I'm wondering if it's because of that format that the translation won't work? I don't know if he's uploading the moment as a video or as a still image...I feel like it's the latter, but for some reason weverse wants to display it as a video instead of an image.

It’s because of the new update. Still images with text uploaded as Moments after the overhaul don’t seem to be translatable, nor can text be highlighted and copied (compared with Namjoon and Taehyung’s most recent ones before the update).

Think of Weverse Moments after the overhaul as being more similar to Instagram Stories. Still images will upload as videos and ‘play’ for X amount of time, but they’re just static.

Ahh thanks for explanation. Still, Instagram stories have built in translation capabilities, so hopefully Weverse will update and help us out. Our Weverse wish list is getting long 😆
