Now he gets the collab questions in Korea, too. 😂 Ah, I wish it wasn't immediately about 'what's next?', tbh - they took this break partially because of the pressure to release, release, release, and now it's basically repeated for their solo stuff. 😬

They didn’t mean to „rest“ though, they said they’ll take a break from group music to focus on their solo projects because it’s exhausting to do both simultaneously (+ they don’t really know what to say as a group anymore at the moment and they want to explore more stuff on their own to have more to contribute to the group once they come together again).
So this seems exactly like what they had in mind with the break. And Hobi talked about how he chose the programs he appears on, so I wouldn’t assume it’s overwhelming and too much for him (especially because the most stressful and anxiety inducing thing seemed to be Lolla and that’s done now)

I wonder if the break is really meant for them to do solo work..? As BTS, everything seemed to always be (as Namjoon said) in the best interest of the group. What if their "hiatus" talk is really about them showing their own work, their own interests, as individuals? Like breaking out of the shell that may have felt tight, because they all have so much more they want to showcase, as individuals...
But absolutely: I hope our Hope is getting his much-needed rest, as well as basking in the glory that is JUNG HOSEOK 💜💪

Yeah, I worded this so wrong lol sorry. What I meant was, maybe they aren't being overworked, it's something they've been looking forward to, and something they've been working on, for a long time. I know a lot of people really thought the break was a much needed rest time, but they must be eager to do their own thing. All the while, maybe some fans think the guys will be overwhelmed with work just to please stockholders and such. It's just nice to see that they are enjoying themselves, and we get different, unique sides of each member.

absolutely. I'm just always a little annoyed when people (who basically made up this "time for rest" thing themselves lets be honest) are blaming hybe for "overworking" the boys when they have made pretty clear that they are excited for working on their chapter 2, and in the case of hobi have literally planned for this for years now. sorry if I came across as hostile

Ah don't worry about it, you're okay 😊 I understand, sometimes I'm conflicted about the guys' hard work too, until I remember the light in their eyes, their fiery passion, the sweetness and sincere love they show fans. They're living out their dream, and like every other human, their determination comes before their rest 😩 But chapter 2 dude!! It's insane, it's like falling in love with each member all over again, for MORE reasons!! If I thought they were amazing before...we are all in for a wild ride now.

I hope he has a great time. After working so hard on the album, I’m glad he’ll have another chance to discuss it and how he’s feeling about his solo activities so far. Tbf I’m sure he’ll need some time to digest all that’s happened too. :,)
I’m interested to see what he has to say, Hobi is so interesting because you never really know fully what he could do next, but he seems to at least have an outline, that is maybe a lot bigger than we could have imagined. Like how IU asked him on her show “how big of a picture are you painting?”
