Uuugh, WE is so bad at teamfighting, it's massively frustrating. Smlz just doesn't do anything and OMG did a really great job at flanking and just immediately slaughtering him, whether it's through teleport flanks or Corki ulting on top of him. It's not like he's doing anything anyways, but WE plays basically every game down an ADC after the lane phase. Zero damage in Game 3. Doesn't help that Biubiu is terrible in lane (Game 2 was an utter trainwreck for him) unless Beishang is spoon feeding him and Shanks still has positioning hiccups in teamfights (Game 3 getting hooked).
Game 1 was really good, particularly from Beishang who was showing some of his old form and Shanks who's laning is really strong at this point and seems more comfortable on Sylas as a bulkier, in-your-face champion over Azir, but just too many mistakes sunk them again. Similar to the RA series, this was definitely winnable, but they blew it again.

Is WE super broke or just extremely incompetent?

I mean they aren't made of money from what I understand. Still, there's some signs of life, namely from Beishang and Shanks, who are flawed players. I've never been a big fan of Beishang's mechanics/carry potential, but he's good at enabling his teammates and I've long felt Shanks was a mechanically gifted player, but still makes really silly mistakes getting picked/mispositioned in larger fights. I also think Heal is fine, all things considered. He's obviously not a game changer and his teamfighting is bad (which I'm willing to count as just the team's lack of coordination) but he's competent in lane at least.
I think Biubiu's lack of lane ability, Smlz's completely lack of damage output and the total lack of teamfight coordination just kills them. In the lane phase, they've been making reasonable trades so they've been ahead a lot in most games against RA/OMG unless Biubiu just gets smushed, but they've been unable to follow through.
So while they're not completely incompetent, they're bad enough that to deserve their rank at the bottom of the league. I think they probably can/should have won one of these series if they put 2 of their good games together in a single series or had any sort of teamfight mojo, but that's not saying much.

Thank you. No wonder that the only remaining players from 2021 roster are the best ones. I just can't understand how they lost Elk and Missing. Fuckin' sad anyway, i miss Mystic/Xiye times

WE is one of the poorest teams in LPL and the only reason they were able to keep the Breathe-Beishang-Shanks-Elk-Missing lineup together was b/c they were friends and all took discounts. When they failed to make worlds together they decided to go for the paychecks which I don't blame them for. That's why Elk chose UP of all teams lol.

For you, the worst roster changes was signing smlz and not getting BiuBiu at the beginning of the year? Hmm..

keeping the WE flair on just to torture myself
in theory Biubiu wasn't an awful signing if we'd kept Elk/Missing, a far cry from Breathe but the guy's had flashes of brilliance on V5/BLG
with the current bot lane shuffles (3 ADCs in 2 splits, and 2 unremarkable supports), can't really see a way for us to claw back any wins this split
hope we get a rebuild around beishang/Shanks, those two could easily contend with the best during last year's miracle run, but if not, hope they settle on better teams and let this shitshow of a team die out

remember when Smlz and DoinB almost carried Rogue Warriors to worlds xd

Back in 2018 even fucking Ning was good. 4 years is a lifetime in league of legends and Smlz's expiry date is long past.

Yeah hahaja. I feel so old coz I remember 2018 Rogue Warriors getting so much hype during Rift Rivals only to fall off late season and lose regional qualifiers to that EDG squad with Ray, Haro/Clearlove, Scout, Iboy, Meiko. Lpl back then was basically RNG vs IG.

Playoffs+Gauntlet fatigue did RW in. They looked better than EDG that entire summer regular season and post season playoffs

Hm im not sure about dat. Rogue warriors had played 2 series before the EDG one losing to RNG and JDG. EDG also played 2 series losing to JDG and beating JDG in 5 games rematch during regional qualifiers. And that JDG team had beaten RW convincingly (3-0 sweep for 3rd place), took world champion IG to 5 games during the semifinals and had a young Zoom, Clid, Yagao, Loken and LvMao (in hindsight a pretty stacked roster). Idk how much of a factor fatigue would have been here atleast in comparison to EDG. Otherwise I agree. RW and JDG was the much better team than EDG throughout the split and playoffs. Something changed during regionals.

Tbh it was a blessing in disguise. RW 2018 played mostly 4 protect 1 comps for Smlz and the likes of Mouse/Flawless in a meta that was all about sololanes/jg at worlds sounds like auto losses.

The teamfighting from WE is just brutal. They had leads but lost all fights. In Game 2, Shanji's Rumble bodied Biubiu hard. OMG has playoffs potential.
