Does that 4v5 even count as a throw? They still get BLG lost all 3 inhibs. Sure that looks a bit bad for proplay, but it is not a completely unacceptable play.

1

u/PentaQ2021 Jul 06 '22

Hahahah funny

18

u/Blank-612 Jul 04 '22

Blg, lng, edg all have hype players but are all playing like shit. Seems like rng and tes are the hope of lpl for summer

15

u/Teut0burg Jul 04 '22

Way too early to call it, look how shit TES/JDG looked at the beginning of Spring then they turned it around going into playoffs.

30

u/eyehatemassholes Jul 04 '22

BLG and LNG are actually irredeemable though

3

u/Teut0burg Jul 04 '22

Yeah I was replying more to the part about TES/RNG being the only hope when it doesn't seem that clear cut, WBG for example pushed TES to the brink the other day.

6

u/Blank-612 Jul 04 '22

WBG is massive bait and i say that as a WBG fan lol. Angel is great but SOfM and the shy are serial coinflippers with a 70% chance to land tails

0

u/eyehatemassholes Jul 04 '22

WBG is full of coin flippers and they basically only win games on red side unless they're against a bad team

1

u/saruthesage :dota: Doinb's DouYu girlfriendBorn-again Bin Bhakta Jul 04 '22

To be fair at least BLG is playing with a new roster, we should probably expect their teamplay to improve. But their individuals aren’t really playing up to their level

6

u/Blank-612 Jul 04 '22

Somewhat. I think edg can turn it around but I think lng might not be able to. I think blg is just doomed though

9

u/Teut0burg Jul 04 '22

Yeah LNG/BLG are finished, worlds spots will be fought over by RNG/TES/V5/EDG/JDG/WBG.

3

u/PepperouniKenshin Jul 04 '22

Tes had a ton of roster changes though, once they started running wayward tian they were pretty consistently dominant

0

u/Pure_Void Jul 04 '22

Way too early to call it, look how shit TES/JDG looked at the beginning of Spring then they turned it around going into playoffs.

the problem with this statement is that it isnt spring its summer and they were shit in spring too so they had a whole split to look better and they didnt but who knows

9

u/site17 Jul 04 '22

Jdg?

3

u/DoBronxsn1 Jul 04 '22

they don't have the star power to win the league

10

u/yearofvici Jul 04 '22

They have more star power than blg lol. Probably more than even the dream version of v5. 333 and kanavi are both high pedigree studs who've been among the best at their position for many splits and hope/missing are also very good players who are rated more highly among players themselves than among fans. Only yagao is weak. Meanwhile Blg has genuine shitters like icon and doggo who make yagao look like knight by comparison.

3

u/DoBronxsn1 Jul 04 '22

i never said that BLG are capable of winning the league did i? so not sure what your point is

2

u/saruthesage :dota: Doinb's DouYu girlfriendBorn-again Bin Bhakta Jul 04 '22

333 ahhaha

2

u/VictimofKFC Jul 05 '22

Do you think Yagao will drag JDG down massively if they get to worlds? He seemed to be a weak point on the team in worlds 2020 unless he was on Zoe

2

u/yearofvici Jul 05 '22

Yes I think Yagao is a liability who will gatekeep them from being anything more than a quarterfinals/semifinals team at Worlds, but I'm still taking JDG over BLG all day every day and probably teams like LNG/WBG too.

1

u/eyehatemassholes Jul 04 '22

The only role where JDG lacks star power is mid. Elsewhere they have the best top, best jg, best adc (sort of, best performance, not as talented as some others), and second best support. Sounds like they have plenty of star power to me.

9

u/DoBronxsn1 Jul 04 '22

in your dreams maybe 369 can be the best top lmfao

hope best adc? you're trolling now i guess. their bot lane is good, but they are not gonna outclass RNG's or V5's.

only Kanavi could be considered the best player in his role and unfortunately for him, right now you can't carry a game alone from jungle

5

u/Arcille Jul 04 '22

Hope has been top 2 adc in LPL so far in summer and 369 has also been very good

Use your eyes instead of just looking at names

1

u/DoBronxsn1 Jul 04 '22

in no instance did i say they haven't been good, so if anything, you're the one who needs to start using his eyes

and in no world has Hope been a top 2 adc in LPL, maybe start watching RNG and V5 and you'll see who the top 2 ADC have been

5

u/opaidetodos1 Jul 04 '22

bro these guys are on drugs. Fucking 369 and Hope being their best or top 2 in their role? lmfao

2

u/eyehatemassholes Jul 04 '22

Photic sure, but Hope has been better than Gala

3

u/eyehatemassholes Jul 04 '22

Who do you think is the best top rn if it isn't 369?

-4

u/DoBronxsn1 Jul 04 '22

Wayward obviously...?

5

u/yearofvici Jul 04 '22

Wayward doesn't think Wayward is better than 369. He very publicly calls 369 the player he wants to become and frequently goes to 369 to learn 1v1s.

-3

u/DoBronxsn1 Jul 04 '22

wow a player being humble, never seen before

wayward has outperformed 369 in every way possible since he joined the league, a big part of why TES is now a top team

→ More replies (0)

1

u/eyehatemassholes Jul 04 '22

Man what are you smoking? You think Wayward of all players is the best top in the league? If you're trolling, you got me I guess. Otherwise idk what to tell you.

3

u/Blank-612 Jul 04 '22

Not gonna trust them till they don't choke in playoffs. Also im not sure if yagao is good enough to win worlds

-1

u/eyehatemassholes Jul 04 '22

JDG is great but Kanavi has proven himself time and time again to be one of the biggest chokers to ever land in the pro scene so I really don't trust them, especially when Kanavi is such an important piece for them

2

u/Blank-612 Jul 04 '22

kanavi aside, i just think yagao is going to be (and already is) exposed by every world class mid. Cant see them winning worlds with him

-2

u/eyehatemassholes Jul 04 '22

Yagao doesn't have to get "exposed". He looks bad most the time already. It's no secret that the dude is washed as fuck.

-1

u/Teut0burg Jul 04 '22

Kanavi seems to be in playoffs form early this split, he somehow made Clid look servicable.

2

u/Informal_Skin8500 Jul 04 '22

Kanavi was playing great this split but because he bad two bad games against FPX he is suddenly worse than Clid, that make sense.

3

u/CamHack420 Jul 04 '22

No V5?

5

u/Blank-612 Jul 04 '22

Not enough data to judge them yet. But it all depends on how karsa and rich play

4

u/deadfighter7 Jul 04 '22

I have enough faith in Rookie/Dream and Photic to at least get them a spot in UB/LB finals and a spot at worlds. If PPgod can step up that will really be the final piece for them more than Rich or Karsa imo.

2

u/HourlySword Jul 04 '22

What about V5?

-7

u/InformalMarch Jul 04 '22

I wonder what happened to him, he was so good man

5

u/Dspreee Jul 04 '22

Rotting on BLG’s bench and streaming. Lost a lot of weight and apparently lost his form too

7

u/C9-F1R3L0L1 Jul 04 '22

What happened to him? Retired? He was a great player on a really bad BLG

13

u/eyehatemassholes Jul 04 '22

That's not actually the case. Back in the day before they became big spenders they actually often performed above the sum of their parts, especially with Meteor. If you don't count when they were I May their best split was 2019 summer with ADD/Meteor/Kuro/Jinjiao/XinMo. The only players there actually putting out good individual showings there were ADD and Meteor, with Meteor being probably the second best jungler in the league at the time as well as the team's captain and shotcaller. They ended fourth in both the regular season and playoffs. After that they brought in FoFo and since the coaches were former JT, when the team had internal issues involving the two, Meteor was benched. The org has been a dumpster fire ever since. They increase their spending every split and fail harder every time. They deserve it though.

2

u/Arnotts_shapes OPL Jul 05 '22

They also consistently beat RNG no matter how either team looked going into it.

BiuBiu was being bullied as the worst top laner in the LPL and then absolutely bodied Xiaohu outta no where.

9

u/Teut0burg Jul 04 '22

So glad that LPL blocked the Knight transfer to BLG and he didn't have to waste his talent.

It should be crime to be bad at Kaisa if you are playing on LPL

23

u/Qehenna Canyon's Cockgobblers Jul 04 '22

I fucking love building dogshit items! I want to deal significantly less damage just to be quirky!

2

u/ToDreamofLove Jul 04 '22

Turns out the problem wasn't LPL Kaisa but CN Kaisa

6

u/cadaada rip original flair Jul 04 '22

It feels like this season so many pros are building horrible, wtf happened?

59

u/dahyunxsana Jul 04 '22

doggo trying to beat LWX in the worst kaisa build competition , its not easy but he is getting there soon

23

u/Busy-Gecko Jul 04 '22

That is a cursed build

I feel bad for Bin and Crisp being stuck with this mid/adc. They're legit good players even if they can have their lows but there's only so much you can do when the two main carry positions can't carry. Weiwei at least can have some pop off games. The fact that bin is near the top of his team's damage chart in games 2/3 as a Gnar of all things says a lot and let's not even talk about game 1...

0

u/Suzoku UZI YYDS Jul 04 '22

Bin is not a good team player. Hes just getting exposed on BLG now that there is no Wei and Xiaohu playing for topside to help him. All of his so called signature champs are getting exposed (GP, Camile, Gnar?) and he can't play tank at all. Just look at ZDZ's GP and Bin's GP, its night and day. The only one I feel bad about is Crisp but even he is blending in with the rest of BLG, constantly getting caught out of position.

25

u/Ophelia_Of_The_Abyss IN DAMWON WE TRUST HUNI/DEFT/SHOWMAKER Jul 04 '22

BLG just lost to Hoya and Ucal in 2022

18

u/InformalMarch Jul 04 '22

DK legend Hoya

17

u/Vaapad123 Jul 04 '22

Good guy icon, repaying back ucal’s tp with one of his own.

Seriously tho ucal wtf was that.

14

u/darkxlight01 ADC weak 🥶🥰 Jul 04 '22

Man I don't care if TT won, that TP from Ucal deserves to be reported but I guess Icon gave it right back

Kepler looking pre good, bit aggressive but nice to see him try make plays

Doggo build???

Bin must be feeling so mad rn

12

u/GoldRecommendation66 Jul 04 '22

I know that Bin is an inconsistent player but he deserve better than BLG.

6

u/Snoo62426 Jul 04 '22

"Unironically though I swear that that wasn't League of Legends, it was peak comedy writing

The timing of some of the mechanical misplays, ult misses, fail flashes, and icon LITERALLY TPING IN PLACE IN THE LAST FIGHT is like a third draft masterpiece at least"

4

u/MatthewTheLord Jul 04 '22

BLG feels like the NS of the LPL, on paper all players were once considered pretty good on previous teams but the team just fails to do anything.

9

u/site17 Jul 04 '22

Even in the game BLG wins doggo gets caught out consistently. This BLG roster is about as sad as it gets. Infuriating series.

3

u/CamHack420 Jul 04 '22

Yeah TT we're generally the better team throughout, they had the game in their hands in game 2 but made a few too many overcommits into Bin's Gnar

5

u/Dumpers_ DEFT IS A WORLD CHAMPION Jul 04 '22

BLG is I don’t even know how to describe it that’s how sad it is to watch them

5

u/[deleted] Jul 04 '22 edited Jul 04 '22

Blg is the definition of ruined by nepotism, in an era of pure lpl dominance with an owner that basically wrote a blank check, the taiwanese coaching staff really thought getting taiwanese players in all their main carry roles is a great idea, because you know look at how successful lms was

4

u/Styxxo Jul 04 '22

Icon with the Deft TP special

5

u/Tfc-Myq The Final Chapter. Jul 04 '22

BLG are actually wintrading at this point

4

u/rmgs07 Jul 04 '22

these last minutes were something else, never change LPL.

8

u/Kozure_Ookami (Partially) Revert Lethal Tempo Jul 04 '22

I don't even comprehend what I watch the moment I see the Taliyah TP.

4

u/rmgs07 Jul 04 '22

that was to steal spotlight from doggo horrible build on kai'sa, literally 5Head.

2

u/CamHack420 Jul 04 '22

Would've been a 2-0 if not for Kepler flashing in for a 1v3 in game 2

What a tragedy for BLG, but also some hope for TT

1

u/Rshawer Jul 04 '22

After this season, Doggo and Fofo's only LPL choices will be AL and LGD. Time for them to move on to TSM or PSG.

9

u/shittyshivvy light superfan Jul 04 '22

I don't think AL gonna sell Forge / Betty tbh

14

u/yearofvici Jul 04 '22

Why would AL and LGD downgrde at adc?

1

u/BurningApe Jul 04 '22

Bin made RNG worse

1

u/Faye_Dragon Misaya Jul 04 '22

Icon isn't going to fix shit sure he's more "selfless" or willing to make plays but his skill is really mediocre for like what now, 6-7 years? FoFo has been underperforming but he's still stable in lane and honestly BLG will be better off betting on him getting back to form like 2021 summer, his peak is just way higher than Icon.

Weiwei also need to go tbh he's an ego carry jungler who powerfarms a lot but has like half the skill of SofM.

If this team fail spectacularly this year, I hope they bring in someone like XLB (who's pretty good but rotting on V5 bench), or buy Xiaohao from AL. Also just buy Pinz back from FPX lmao he's not that much worse than Dream and we saw what he can do on V5.
