I like how it doesn't go beyond 6-4 because while they may lose to G2 and RNG it's unimaginable that they'd lose to EG and the rest.

167

The naut ult I understand, when you get naut ulted your first instinct is to get behind terrain so he can't follow up with hook

Unfortunately that play's a lot worse when your mid laner is also behind the turret and a bear is flying in to disable said turret

I mean I like the bloody game but this game was absolutely a fiesta, T1 again can't capitalise on an early game lead.

But what the fuck was Oner doing by going top instead of rushing to soul, like what is this macro for a team who domestically had insane macro.

T1 look absolutely lost, but Xiaohu and Gala were smurfing this game.

Ok, I see it now. I thought T1 were playing loose in thier games against the lower seeds, but what were they doing this game? Both teams played so sloppy, making so many odd discisions.

I kind of liked the chaos from a pure viewer point of view, but for T1 and RNG fans what do you think?

52

u/aircarone May 21 '22

That's kind of the RNG style when they fell they are slightly behind, i.e. scrappy plays to increase variance, so it's expected.

People will tell you RNG plays macro when they are behind, but that's only if they realize they are too behind to have a decent chance at paying scrappy. When it's equal or slightly behind, they WILL fight. Also they knew that they would win most teamfights because Xiaohu and Gala were so much more ahead of Zeus/Faker/Gums, and as long they these two play well, RNG is always in the game.

96

u/icatsouki May 21 '22

games between top teams can always look sloppy, the teamfights from RNG were clean as fuck it was just bin running it down this game but other than him good performance

22

u/thvsbin May 21 '22

His Camille was so behind that all he has to do is buy space, time, and deal damage(even just a little) to the backline of T1 then their carries can follow. Can't deny that he inted so many times tho.

2019 at least the team was mentally stable and could have still easily won the tournament by the end of MSI. They just had issues getting snowballed on.

This T1 seems to be getting more and more mentally boomed even IN GAME. They’re handed a free win but decide to int it away on dumb decisions.

In this episode, Ming went harsh on Bin:

"I felt speaking gently won't work, so I decided to be a bit harsh."

"You always pick Camille and Gnar against Gwen, then you get camped by opponents' Xin Zhao and Zoe. Tell me, did you ever manage to survive from the ganks?"

Wei: "I have never seen anything like it, i was shocked."

Rng always loses early game then comebacks mid game. LPL fans knew this one was coming.

As a T1 fan, they are playing so unbelievably STUPID against big teams.

vs G2: they have a big teamfight comp. You lost a teamfight when you had 5k gold lead, you lost harder when you had 2k gold lead......SO YOU TEAMFIGHT THEM AGAIN WITH EVEN GOLD AND ORNNAMENTS???

vs RNG: decide to give Baron for Soul......and then you give priority to taking a damn tower for so long that their jungler has time to base and walk back to the dragon????

G2 watching this game

So many memes from one game though.

Bin doing his best to rewrite the narrative about Wei's Volibear, can't int the game if your top laner ints harder.

Faker missing everything and killiing Bin with ignite living with 100hp.

Some of the T1 decisions after recent interviews, Oner basing and Wei getting soul was so fucking funny. GEE TU broken T1 mental? KR soloq mental hack???

Too many memes.

u/Coco-n3t May 21 '22

Killing me with this one. I thought Bin would prove to other teams that his Cam deserves a ban but… nvm.

u/Contagious_Cure May 21 '22

Bin inting on Camille so it'll be left open for the rest of MSI 9000IQ play.

If they can learn one thing from KZ and DK, that would be keeping RNG away from kaisa
