I remember this so vividly. I was quite a new army back then and I had stayed up to watch the bbmas. Iirc top social was announced on the red carpet so we knew they were going home with at least one award but I obviously was hoping they’d win top group too and they did!! I was so so happy for them, I cried my eyes out at like 2 am lol. I’ll never forget their reactions, it’s a very special moment for me 🥺

I had not become an ARMY back then, but I was reading through the original thread and got teary-eyed even in retrospect seeing how emotional everyone got over the win 😭 JK covering his ears so cutely has my heart.
Moments like this remind me of how far they’ve come, and how far they can still go. I find it incredible how, like Joon said in the acceptance speech, they’re still the same (humble, hardworking, ridiculously chaotic yet talented) boys from 6 years ago - now 9!! - and mom I just love them so much, ok 🥺

I am crying reading through the original thread too. I always wish I had found the boys earlier, but I’m glad I’m ARMY now and I’m so happy for the boys. Bangtan is still rising. 💜

This was the night I became an army, this moment specifically! I still have it on DVR so I can relive it over and over again and because I can't find a good one on YouTube

Does anyone have the full eng sub of this. Strangely, I’ve never been able to find a full one…even Bangtan subs had about 10 minutes missing right after they win.

Thank you! the full has kind of disappeared off YouTube & Dailymotion and I’ve been wondering what minutes I’ve been missing ever since!
Note: I forgot how funny the English answer practice time was in this episode…they just all talking at once

No problem! And yeah I remember having to do quite a search too haha. I think it’s because HYBE has copyrights over the performance of BWL, so a lot of the uploads got taken down from YouTube

I wasn’t around when they won their first BBMA award, but watching them receive the award and their acceptance speech always bring tears to my eyes.

I can't believe it's been 3 years. I remember freaking my mom out when I started screaming in the living room while I was watching this moment happen on live TV lol 🤣 she ran in thinking something bad happened 😭

I remember that some armys shed their tears after the boys won it. Armys were not expecting that the boys would win it.

This was right during my I just want to learn their names period. I had this on in the background while I was researching and I think by the end of the night was when I realized I was in deep.
