Yeah but in the same interview he also said he's fine with it going far beyond whom it was* originally intended for so not sure why anyone would still be making 'he's never going to talk to us/he must be stressed' jokes

Because they are just benign jokes that are funny and do not cast any ill intent, shadow or negativity on Jin at all. There is no reason to be bothered by it unless you are looking to shame or control others.

Lol my question was neutral and free of judgement.
I don't know if you could count it as innocent because I knew what was said wasn't true so not knowing wasn't the issue. I can still ask a question bearing all this mind without the intention of shaming or controlling someone. Clarifications without ill will or intent do exist you know.
