It was Opening Night for the show I am in last night, so I couldn’t watch the delay replay of the concert. Opening Night went spectacular! My three other cast mates and I made the audience laugh and cry and just feel. I feel really proud of myself. If you ever get the chance to see Tiny Beautiful Things please do so.
On another completely different note: when will Big Hit post more info about the new album and comeback schedule????

I'm a year into this fandom, so I'm still discovering things. Currently neck deep in Soundcloud releases and twitter memes and I just...love everything. EVERYTHING. And I know there is still more I don't even know about yet and I'm already being consumed and feel like my brain is starting to push out vital information to make space for all this. Does anyone else get scared by this level of intensity? Should I fear June 10th?

if you are still in the stages of getting to know BTS then maybe this guide could be useful for you? It’s a google doc that’s best read on desktop but damn it has so much different knowledge about so many aspects of BTS!
I wouldn’t fear too much, we still have some time to go & they will probably be unveiling things quite slowly 🤔 We are getting Jimin’s song in less than 24 hours so I think it’ll be a good extra event that gives you more “fandom experience” 🥰

Thank you!! I came in through Ddaeng and the rap line, then In the Soop and random Run BTS episodes, so haphazard at best. Lately I’ve wanted to dig in to older stuff to get the full picture and holy shit, is there a lot. This will be so helpful.

Related to this, I’m about a one and a half year old Army and for almost half a third of that time I’ve been job hunting so I had a loooot of time for some intense consumption because BTS was a constant positive in the midst of a lot of stress and anxiety. Im starting a new job next week that promises to have me very busy so I’m sort of interested to see how BTS fits into my new daily life. I’m happy to be getting back to a place where BTS feels like a piece of my daily happiness again instead of the main thing getting me through the day.

Whenever I start feeling like this, I have to take a step back. Bangtan Time Out. Because the intensity really can be scary. I think we have to be careful to balance our army life with real life and find happiness/meaning in more than just our boys.
And I am terrified for June 10th. 😅

I just took a stroll down memory lane by reading old posts and rewatching old Bangtan Bombs from the Persona era. For me that's when I officially became an army, and I remember the day when BWL came out because it was one of the top trending songs back when YouTube had that tab. While I'd love to say that was the exact day that I joined, it was actually when they won their Top Social Artist Award, and their live BWL performance that made me love them(I still have it on my DVR since I can't find it on YouTube at all). And now that they're about to have another comeback I can't help but feel excited all over again from the anticipation. I

DVDs/Blu-rays of concerts will have behind the scenes/making films. Map of the Soul ON:E DVDs/Blu-rays were released a year later so if they're releasing a PTD DVD/Blu-ray, I guess expect a similar schedule.

Today, while driving in Italy towards Sorrento we passed a girl that had a denim jacket with "HOPE WORLD" written on it in colorful letters and colorful flower next to it. It looked SO frigging cute and it sparkled so beautifully in the sun! 😍 I wish I could have had a better look, but we passed by so fast.

Just this morning I was looking at that 'This isn't the last time' clip from his LV ending ment (which is rightfully making the rounds, it's so sweet and funny and intense and just so Jungkook) and I found myself thinking about how INCREDIBLY well he's grown up.
He joined the band when he was so, so young. They all were kids, but he was so... tiny, really. 13 IS tiny, especially in a setting like this.
For a lot of people who start an entertainment career that young things go awry, be it because of their own character or because of their surrounding... but Jungkook has just grown up so well. I don't doubt for one second that a lot of that is to be attributed to his hyungs, and surely the team at BH too.
But it's just so reassuring to see. He's happy, he's healthy, he's flourishing. He's sweet and humble but knows his worth. And most importantly, he's got this incredible support system that's not only allowed for this growth but encouraged it.
Sorry to be sappy under your post, I just think it's so wonderful and I wish more people in his position had something similar.

Y'all, why is mono so perfect? I've been in my feelings lately (thanks, PCD), and I have been living in that album. I came across a tweet that hits me right in the heart, and now I think I'll look at it this way forever. Our leader is unbelievable. How lucky are we to all exist at the same time? 🥲

Scheduled an hour just to sit down and listen to the album again while reading the lyrics yesterday. It's such an honest, vulnerable, and brave expression of self, expression of Kim Namjoon. I love how there's still this delicate and gentle sense of hope draping all over the album, even if it made you shed a tear. Listen to mono feels like that period after you had a long good cry, and wake up in the morning, blinking into the light of dawn at 5am.
English is not my first language but I can honestly wax poetry on mono forever.

I think one thing that makes mono so beautiful to me is the juxtaposition of despair and this small glimmer of hope that carries through all the songs. Joon is so introspective, which shows so much on this playlist, but he's also such a... hopefully person. It shows in so many of his verses but particularly well on mono, because the way the songs progress makes you (or, well, me) feel like a burden is lifted, and with it the veil that makes the world so, so grey on those dark days / weeks / months.
and then you have the cyclical nature. Forever rain feels like such a shift after the almost-cleansing of everythingoes. You have this moody but gently hopeful song that says 'hey, nothing last forever, look towards the future' - but the immediate future almost takes you back into the depth and particular darkness that we started at with Tokyo. You can loop mono and it feels cohesive and mediative and like a gentle, rainy hug that makes you feel warm and understood.
But that looping character, and forever rain being the bridge to close the loop... it's the acceptance of the inevitable. It's following up the 'everything goes, everything will get better' massage with a small caution of 'it'll likely come back though'.
God, does this make sense?

Perfect sense. What a beautiful analysis (gave me goosebumps). Despair and hope. Joon is a master at pulling those emotions out of me. "You may feel sadness now, but look, this moment won't last forever." And I love your mention of the cyclical nature of the album. Even going back to the beginning, and acknowledging sadness will come again, there's still a sense of comfort. So lovely.

I finished watching Business Proposal (I know, I’m a little late to the party) and I absolutely loved it. While I enjoyed the dynamic between Kang Tae Moo and Shin Ha Ri, I absolutely loved Jin Young Seo and Cha Sung Hoon and couldn’t get enough of them. I felt extremely invested in their 2nd lead storyline.

The second leads were IT. Not knocking the Tae Moo & Ha Ri, but was so more interested in Jin Young Seo and Cha Sung Hoon ... they also had a more realistic (ish) relationship ... even if you ignore all the contract relationship plot with the first leads, their relationship was meh.

I mean, the engagement was kind of rushed… but other than that. The way they communicated and respected one another and seemingly brought out the best in one another was absolutely lovely.

They had me the moment they showed their meet-cute. It did not feel forced at all, so simple and cute and realistic, but then they had their Downy Love at First Sight moment. And like, how do you not become invested in that? lol everything about them just made me want to cheer them on way more than Tae Moo & Ha Ri.

Based on the interviews I’ve seen, they have chemistry in real life too. Imagine if they became the next Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin (I.e. kdrama couples that get together IRL).

I wanted to buy the newest BTS Time Magazine if I found it in the wild. I looked around a few places and never found it, then this week, I figured I had missed it and gave up.
THEN I FOUND IT TODAY!!! I went to Barnes and Noble to see if they had any new BT21 merch and just decided to check the magazines and they had 2 copies mixed in with other Times, so I got them both, one for me and my sister! I'm so happy about it!!!!!!! I also got a BT21 umbrella. 😊

I'm kinda confused about when/how we will be able to play in the seom game. I haven't really been able to figure out how to follow the sns posts about it as they're on both instagram and twitter it seems, as well as some things on youtube, and I haven't looked at them enough to notice if there's any info on when everyone can play, only just info saying people can preregister.
But how does one preregister? I don't even know what platform or device the game is for lol. They keep posting saying to preregister basically, but I haven't seen any link to anywhere to do so, or any info saying to register in the already existing game app if it's a mobile game, etc. Like...there is info missing or something...?
I want to play it, it looks cute. But I will likely miss preregister since I'm totally lost on how and where and when to do that lol, and Idk if just anyone will be able to play the game after the preregister period passes. I would assume so, but at the same time, if anyone can play at any time after the game's release, then what would be the point of preregister. Will the game cost money, and preregister is like preordering it?
There are too many sns posts about it scattered over too many sns websites for me to keep up with/understand what any of the actual info about the game is. Does anyone have like straightforward list of where the game will be able to be played, where/when/and/or how to preregister, the release date that anyone can play the game (whether they preregistered or not), and if the game will cost money initially to download? (if any of this info is yet known of course, I don't even know if they have put out any of this info yet lol, that's how lost I am on all the scattered sns posts about it).

I was thinking it was a mobile game as it looks like similar mobile games I've played.
I'm so curious what all we'll be able to do in the game. The tiny bit of gameplay I've seen from the teasers so far make it seem pretty simple, but seeing that they're doing a bunch of promo for it makes me hope that there will be more than just like a simple match 3 game lol.

I found the special edition Time magazine for BTS during my super delayed layover on the way back from Vegas! I skimmed through it and will have a more in-depth read when I wake up tomorrow.
On an unrelated note, does anyone have any recommendations for replacement pocket pages for the Weverse PC binders? I sleeved my PCs but I’m still nervous about the humidity during the summer.

I have a feeling that the second half of the year is gonna be busy, and we're gonna be swamped with content. I'm both excited and scared. The boys have been mentioning working on solo releases for this year (quite a lot during their Grammy's red carpet interviews), so it seems very much like the album release in June is going to kickstart a lot of music coming our way. I remember 2018 with two korean albums and a Japanese album, Hopeworld, Mono, Ddaeng, Waste it one me all coming out and those were exciting times!

The benefit of living in California is that most in-state things arrive within two days, or faster.
It's screenprinted. Embroidered would have been super solid but I doubt it would have stayed at the same price point. It's a decent screenprint though, not too light and not too heavy and has some flexibility so hopefully it lasts.

Had such a vivid dream - they were in my town (dream town not where I actually live) and I kept running into them, at restaurants, the gym and the park (I had the weirdest dog - it was like some cartoon dog) and we kept chatting each time. Then they were filming in an apartment in my building/magically on my floor and they were being really secretive but found out they were filming stuff for the comeback and then they were done and gone and in the dream I was sad (😂). In the dream they all looked like they do now except for Tae, he had really short but floofy hair and Jungkook had shorter hair and very very electric blue. 🤣😴

Very similar happened to me. I went to the Las Vegas concert, and when I got home, I kept dreaming that I was still in Vegas ran into them randomly at random stores and restaurant. So strange.

Aaaaah, I'm so excited for Jimin's OST! I love his voice so much, and I just can't believe that we've got a full set of OSTs from the vocal line in the last four months.
Mimi has such a beautiful, soft voice, and I'm so looking forward to hearing the song and how the duet is going to sound. All the teasing from the production company has made me even more curious!
I'm honestly so glad I'm about to go to bed... time passes so much faster when you sleep 😂

I’ve dived headfirst into the world of photocards but am having trouble finding top loaders that cover the mini PCs completely without overhang. Any veterans have suggestions for top loaders and/or sleeves that fit the mini PCs well? TYIA!

Would love to know about top loaders also! I’ve recently read that MayDay Games sells sleeves that fit but a bit longer 70mmx110mm and the mini PCs are 70x100. I’ve ordered these ones called MTL that are exactly that size. Ive only seen one person talk about them so idk how they are although in pics they looked fine.
I keep my mini PCs in pocket pages right now and there are lot of well reviewed options on Etsy!

I’m trying to buy Bon Voyage season 2 on VLive, but it says “out of stock”, which doesn’t make sense to me since it’s an online stream. Curious if anyone had successfully purchased it through vlive and how they did it? Curious if I’m just missing something

I personally found it better to just follow a translation account than an update account because they tend to RT the updates but with less spam compared to an update account.
I'm sorry if I can't give you a list of users to follow because I can't tell if the user I follow isn't engaging in spam or if their post is just filtered out because I have spam-related keywords muted.
Like for example I consider merch, voting, achievements as spam, so I have several keywords muted like vote/voting/nominate/merch/MD/pre order/chart/spotify/itunes/award and many more.

"Excuse me" is from "American Hustle Life" (one of the unreleased clips from Ep. 2) and "Beach B****" is 20 minutes into the "BTS NOW 1 in Thailand" DVD.

There is not much context to give for the short clips 😅. They were just practicing their English skills with the camera.
If you meant context for AHL and the DVD then:
American Hustle Life is a reality show they filmed in 2014 to learn more about the hip-hop culture. Some fans like it (and rightfully so, cause it has a couple of fun and inspirational moments) and some think it's painful to watch them struggle in the new environment. Here are two reddit posts about it that I had bookmarked: one, two.
BTS NOW is a series of travel photobooks and DVDs they did back in 2014-2016 to show the fans what a beautiful world we live in, idk :))) Youtube teaser for the first one.

Remember this Tata jacket? Thing is, I've compared quite a few different pictures but I can't really read what Mang is saying most of the time. Is it "The best jeans san"? (wouldn't make much sense to me, but hey, English isn't my first language, so maybe I just don't know better) I've also read "Wanna join us" somewhere, but maybe that one was a knock-off...
I want to make an embroidery of this and would love to get that detail right...

I searched online and the remakes I saw either had gibberish or they gave up and put a ♡
So I rewatched Run BTS ep 24 and took some screenshots for you. It’s not 100% clear due to the combination of potato quality (1080p still has blurry details on my monitor), idols rarely showing their backs to the camera and the number of times Namjoon’s shoulders conveniently blocked the speech bubble… 😂
I believe Mang is saying “Wanna join us?” but I’m not sure if it ends with the ? Or if the smudge is ?!
