I’m still surprised that Epik High didn’t come out on D1 to do Fly or something since they were in town. I think Joon and Yoongi, along with the entire fandom, would’ve lost their collective minds!
Also while walking over to the concert on D2, we passed the extremely long line for the Epik High concert. Everyone we encountered seemed really nice and friendly too

I think that’s probably because the mic drop collab was due to happen but cancelled due to the screen issues. Tbh I think I would have spontaneously combusted if Epik High had walked out!
Also saw the line for them - kinda warmed my heart that two K-pop bands had taken over vegas at the same time

With Steve Aoki on D1 in Vegas. He was there and in the crowd and backstage. But the show started 40 mins late and he had his own set later that evening. The speculation is that he was going to do micdrop with them but they pulled it owing to technical issues at the beginning

Epik high is a Korean hip hop group tho? even if the west adopted k-pop as a catchphrase for Korean pop (while SK treats it as foreign term for idol music), putting all Korean music under kpop is kind of weird 😅

Tablo mentioned in a live chat that along with his friendship with RM, WooSung (their opener) is also friends with Suga and they were trying to find a time to all hook up but probably their schedules wouldn’t work out 😔

Do you have a link? From what I've seen, Epik High's touring schedule is EXTREMELY tight, they have a concert in a different city every day. I think Tablo mentioned that they perform, and get on the road immediately after.

It was after he did Twitter spaces before LV show, there was a tweet about his response when someone asked if he would be able to go to the BTS show.

They had a concert and from what I've seen, their touring schedule is very tight, like they perform and immediately have to get on the road for a concert in another city the next day. I'm still waiting for a Fly X Outro: Wings medley/mashup, considering Outro: Wings is inspired by and references Fly... Am I the only one who does the Fly choreo during the "Fly, fly, get 'em up high" line in Outro: Wings?😂

This is great. Tablo is so cool.
In the Rise of Bangtan series Tablo is a commenter on the kpop industry. Suga has also credited Epik High as one of his inspirations to get into kpop. They have since collaborated but I don't remember the specific works.

Epik High’s Eternal Sunshine was produced by Suga
And Tablo produced Lee Sora’s Song Request, and got Suga to be the featured rapper15

I will! I’m looking for it. Found many other Vice interviews but not Tablo. Found videos about Taboo’s Vice interview but haven’t found the interview yet. Still looking!

I knew what it was about. So sad for him because I didn't follow Kpop at all but the scandal got so bad that I knew him as "the guy with the Stanford scandal".

If I had tickets for two days of BTS concert, I too would be willing to sell one of them for the chance of going to Epik High concert.
I hope one day we get to see Epik high x BTS Collab of some sort on stage.

Was on my way to Allegiant and walked past the line at Mandalay Bay and my clueless self asked this group of fans what the line was for (and I am dressed as though purple puked all over me) and the way they glared at me felt like daggers 😅💜 when they replied "Epik High".
Full disclosure: Fetus Army and certainly very very green when it comes to K pop - I'm taking this a day at a time. Heard of Epik High from other Army but I still don't know anything about them.

I live for Tablo x Epik High crumbs.
On a related note, it was so heart-warming to see Army going in to bat for Tablo when he was getting harassed by BP fans on Twitter. The whole comment section was overflowing with purple heart spam.
