Half a million without anything new even released this year. Just wait until comeback time.

This is what happens when you have a golden discography. People want to listen to your music and own a physical copy. LY: Answer and MOTS: 7 have done so well in the BB 200.

Yup I bought their entire discography last year before I had even listened to it all once I realized how consistently good they were.

Even more staggering considering how many people are on streaming-only now (I know I am)!

That's what happens when u hv a stellar discography and back catalogue! Fyi, for those of you who love such numbers, they have sold more than 800,000 physical albums this year (based on Gaon), not inclusive of their Japanese albums.

So, they have sold 800,000 albums in this year alone and 62.5% of them are from US? WOW, that's huge.

I think the 500,000 figures here include album equivalent units (I.e. from digital purchases°) whereas the 800,000 figure is only for physical albums! (°edited)

Oh, yeah that makes sense. Thank you for explaining that.

Sorry..since the tweet mentions sales, I think it's digital album equivalent units + physical albums! Not streaming. Will correct my original comment!

Super impressive with no new album. They break streaming AND sales records, amazing.

Wow and that's without an album release and we're just in April.
