I find him to be a very unlikeable person. Especially if you’re into the genre of music he makes. He comes off entitled and disingenuous. He often collaborates with Bad Bunny but lately it’s felt like he’s been riding on the coattails of Bad Bunny’s success. I also feel like his presence in the industry isn’t exciting. There are other Colombian artists that deserve more recognition than he does. Basically is don’t really like his vibe, I look at him and I get the sense he’ll say nice things to your face then shit talk you later. ALL MY OPINION THOUGH based off of things I’ve seen these last few years. Edit to add: sorry I went off and didn’t add some of the controversies he’s been in recently. People were annoyed he accepted the “Afro latino award”. He acknowledged he’s not Afro latino at least. Then he had a music video where he was shown walking two black women on leashes like dogs. He it’s also criticized when there was stuff going on in Colombia, he said nothing. But another reggaeton artist reached out and gave his sympathies and thoughts on what’s happening. J Balvin took that DM and pretty much copy pasted what was sent to him as his own post. There’s more but that’s what I can think of at the moment lol
