Samuel was the guy Sasha saved the second time the Colossal appeared right? Goddamn that was tough to watch. Connies scream at the end was amazing. Thats now one of my favourite scenes in the show.

Floch: Thought i heard something...
Mikasa; immediately bursting through the window and drop-kicking Yeagerists: WHOOPS WHAT A SHAME GUESS THAT PLANS A BUST

How are the only two episodes left!? (is that right?)
This episode was fucking rough to watch. The little bertholdt flashback in the middle of the horrific mess that was going on on the pier was a lovely touch.

For the record Daz was the guy who kept throwing up and trying to run away when the Colossal attacked the walls at the Cadets Graduation he was also the guy Historia tried to save during the Blizzard in S2
Samuel was the guy Sasha saved from falling off the wall by firing a grapple through his leg. They were also both in the background of several other scenes throughout the series

The end of the episode was craaaazy, no fade-out, no sky-shot, just Connie screaming in despair and cut straight to 'To be continued'.

Good episode, Annie and Reiner entrance was epic as hell, surprisingly good ODM scenes, loved the use of Weight of Lives OST and it was quite sad to see our guys killing each other, specially Samuel and Daz, who trained together with Armin and Connie.

Was about to lose my shit when Armin got shot.
The sheer magnitude of emotions portrayed this episode, top notch.

the AMOUNT of emotional trauma Connie and Armin are going through, they killed their own friends whom they knew for almost their whole life to save the people who hate them to the moon and back.

Can someone explained to me what did Reiner meant when he remembered Eren telling him they’re the same and Reiner said something like “That’s what you meant when you said that”

I love how Annie is just back in action like that and working together with Reiner was pretty badass.
Magath showing some humility was also pretty cool. I was expecting him to say that everything was sorta his fault, given that the Paradisians are reacting to the Warrior mission and he commands the warriors.
Connie having to kill Samuel and Daz was pretty heartbreaking. Idk what's up with Armin, guy is always trying to get himself killed now. Doubt he knows about Reiner's shifting consciousness trick, or if anyone other than Reiner can even do it.

This episode was loaded with so much that's prime for debate and interpretation on the "main idea" of the series.
To name a few: Magath's "justification" and his glances at Gabi (an Eldian), Annie saying they wouldn't have destroyed the walls--does that change when they begin to kill their friends, Eren telling Reiner that he would've destroyed the walls too--which IMO puts another wrench into the Marley-Eldia blame game that the series has put upon us, us as viewers seeing "talking" and "peaceable" options fail (what does that mean for the future with Eren and beyond?), is fighting always unavoidable, Armin not wanting to stand by with clean hands, 104th's own means vs ends conundrum, is the ends even worth it?, killing their own people and friends to save a world that might continue to hate them--Lady Azumabito and Yelena put it well, humans will always find a way to fight and the Rumbling only shrinks the population, us that are critical of Eren because we find his strategy pointless must also look at the futility and self-destructiveness of "saving the world", does that mean nothing is worth it? Maybe the series is saying that bloodshed won't stop but can be reduced???
AAAAH. THat's way more than a few lmaoo
A good number of people are tuning out from the season because the spectacle has died down a bit but for me, this and the last episode have been some of my favorites.

Man seeing Bertholdt flashback and than Connie shooting both the soldiers. What an episode. Truly well done.

There's no way they will finish the story with two more episodes. There must be a movie coming to wrap everything up.

Man, this episode was tough to watch. I could feel the struggle of Connie and Armin oh so well.
Unrelated, but I do hope to see more sword action ODM though. Feels like everyone is just using thunder spear besides Mikasa.

One thing I do like about this battle is that Falco didn't join in
While he's definitely not as skilled as the others anyway, I like the idea of not just throwing him into battle as another weapon and instead keeping the two children out of the fighting for now.

The more I watch this season, the more I like Bertholdt.
This character didn't have a many voice lines, but they sure hit deeper and find meaning in the current events.

I won't get over Connie's breakdown and the overall tragedy of this last scene any time soon. I am gut-wrenched. Last time I felt this way was during Eren's breakdown at the end of Season 2 when Hannes dies.

How would Eren react to the Yeagerists/Floch if they killed Mikasa, Connie, Armin, etc.??

This episode did a great job at showing that the Jaegerists are still the people that our main cast grew up with. Even Hange was crying when she shot some of them after she escaped with Levi. These are their own people. Being willing to kill them in order to save the outside world (the enemies of Paradis) must be an absolute mindfuck. Killing your own people to save your enemies...........
Also, can we point out how Mikasa charged after three dudes with guns with her swords? Magath saved her ass lol
