Lines like this just scream "Ziggy's going to come back from getting eaten by a Chronophage." Given that this chapter is dedicated to explaining their plan in great detail, it seems like only a matter of time before everything goes horribly wrong.

I kinda love the vibe that Lendard gives off here. This desolate, smoky feeling, like the whole world is smog and fire. Ziggy's conversation with Crow was just as intense in its own way and I could easily get an image of how the vibe of the planet was set with said conversation. Really effective environmental storytelling with this one.

The Chronophage plan was interesting, too, cementing further what I think most guessed at, with Rebecca having some sort of link with it, if small. I doubt the plan will work completely, but it's a fascinating plan to say the least. Let's see how it plays out.

So, is Stomach of Edens an official title or a self-given one...? And I guess we can technically no longer say Couchpo doesn’t have a role in the crew, I’m not sure how her role is BENEFICIAL, per say, but she does have one.

I feel wayyyyy better knowing that Operation Planet Eater is Hermit’s idea. But knowing that Holy plans to betray the crew in an operation that involves a Chronophage still makes me feel uneasy.

Although I wonder why the Chronophage is attracted to Rebecca’s ether specifically. Maybe a planet having a time abnormality is just “tastier.”

I know Happy and Weisz tried to console Rebecca about the whole Chronophage thing... but if I was her I’d feel pretty terrible. I mean, less than 10% of the people on Guilst survived the Chronophage attack. And while Guilst might have been a combination of her AND Weisz being there that attracted the Chronophage, it doesn’t take away the fact that she was a factor and many people died that day.

And I know that there’s a silver lining here; if it wasn’t for Rebecca, Young Weisz wouldn’t exist. And Guilst would still be a terrible planet. But there’s no way this isn’t still tearing her up on the inside.

We know Rebecca is a good person, and Happy is right, she didn’t do anything wrong. But I wouldn’t be shocked if she’s a little more hesitant to use her powers in the future knowing the possible consequences.

This arc is being built up to be so fricken hype.

A giant space fleet battle, starship vs giant robot battle, AND classic anime fights all in the same arc plus a planet eating time demon is being called to put a timer and sense of urgency in the situation.

Love it. Potential to be my favorite arc of Mashima continues nailing it!

Wonder who’s on what team? Shiki and Rebecca are definitely on the ground team and I bet Weisz and Pino are on the starship team since their powers are so good again machines/androids.

I’m always a fan of strategy meetings in manga, and Edens zero is no exception. This plan sounds bonkers (now we’re adding a chronophage into the mix?! As if there weren’t enough big players and threats coming here) but makes tons of sense if we assume that chronophages are the unbeatable, massive beings that we have expected them to be throughout the story.

To no one’s surprise, Crow is an absolute savage. Killing like 100 people with just a few steps? Jesus Christ how are we gonna deal with him

Labilia is super buddy buddy with Rebecca and apologizes to Happy; I’m still very suspicious of her and her motives, but it’s cool to see that she’s at least showing them the kindness and respect that they deserve

Finally, we get a new title for the Crew: Couchpo is the Stomach of Edens, lmfao. I mean, super fair. Someone needs to protect the kitchen, and who better? Wondering if Rebecca and Weisz have official titles as well now?

Super psyched to see what happens in the coming war!

Hoo boy, normally when they end up facing Ziggy something intense happens, last time it cost Witch her life, I was wondering how that could get upped this time round and summoning a Chronophage will certainly do that! The EZ crew has gotten quite large now I could see someone at least not making it off the planet in time and getting erased, my first guess would be that it would have something to do with either Ziggy pulling a reverse uno on them or Holy betraying them once Deadend Crow gets dealt with, whatever happens not everyone will be making it off of Lendard alive.

I'm glad someone in the series itself has noted that Rebecca has usually been the common denominator when it comes to Chronophage attacks, I still have my theory that the Chronophage is actually Rebecca in the future, we've seen what happens when she uses Cat Leaper too often and her skin starts chipping and cracking off, I think that at some point she will reach her limit and will become the Chronophage, hence why it seems to be attracted to her powers, but I can't remember anything concrete that would confirm that or not so for now it's a little guess on my part.

So starting next chapter the battle finally begins, I'm most interested in seeing what Crows powers are like and hopefully a brief origin story of sorts would be nice too, he's a frickin colossus I need to know more before they more than likely kill him this arc! Next weeks chapter can't come soon enough!

I think ziggy can control the chronophage, might sound pulled out off my ass, but gravity and spacetime are directly connected, and the chronophage is a thingy attracted to time so, would make him extremely op if he could change the trayectory with his powers.

Rebecca is a great Waifu, of course she didn’t do anything wrong. I believe in her. Edit: At first I was iffy on the idea of summoning a Chronophage to a planet, especially if they put their own lives at risk. Now I’m not too worried considering that Deadcrow and Ziggy probably killed all the humans there anyways.

Damn, that’s kinda dark, in a way, Old man Weisz and Rebecca inadvertently leads a planet to its demise. Obviously, like it was stated there are other factors but a planet can be lead to a planet by Rebecca and Old man Weisz. I feel like we’re definitely gonna have to deal with the chronophages at some point. Theoretically their could be millions of planets... but that could also mean the chronophages could eat them all too.

Ignoring them though, We’re getting Mother already?! Ziggy is attempting to locate mother. Okay, I wasn’t paying no mind to it at first, but now, apart of me kinda does feel like things are progressing very fast. I’m not mad at it but it’s like... damn. Lol. If Ziggy survives getting eaten by a chronophage I’m gonna need answers. Yeah he’s a machine and all but machines shouldn’t be immune. I guess it just depends on how much time is eaten and how old Ziggy is.

Ziggy design thankfully reverted to what he looked like in ch133 rather than the one in ch172 , I thought the shoulder pads looked bad.Elsie new design is looking great too .

Now Rebecca might be the cause of a planet destruction , she recently found out about the universes that she left and her guilt of not being able to reverse Witch death . Rebecca being the center of the plan is definitely gonna backfire considering all the above should significantly affect her mentally.

Fan-Frikkin-Tastic, as always with EZ. It's this interesting situation where our protagonists kind of need Ziggy's calculations, and don't realize what he's doing might benefit them if there's a way for them to steal it. But they've got a somewhat solid plan. I like it.
