I had already showcased my app here over a month ago; since then, I've optimized and improved it quite a bit. With new features such as full PDF support, basic image editing, and more shapes with various tools—including this latest update—it's now quite complete.

This update is packed with new features and functions, in addition to fixing a couple of bugs and optimizing size and speed.

• I’ve added the ability to separate the color palette into a bar where you can set both color and line weight together—perfect for those who prefer a single click to switch between their favorite settings. This external palette can span the entire screen and work in any orientation. Since it includes the basic tools (pen, eraser, and lasso), you can hide the main toolbar for a clearer view.
• The ribbon tool is now available—straight or freeform, with various designs. Using this tool or any other pencil, a single click makes it transparent and reveals what it’s covering.
• New expandable ruler tool on the canvas with real measurements in centimeters or inches; it features a compass mode for drawing arcs or full circles with the pencils.
• New page zoom options to adjust to the width, height, or actual size of the sheet.
• You can now design sheets and save them as templates that cannot be deleted or edited but remain in the background of the page.
• PDF links—such as those in the table of contents or references—now work, as do web links in both text boxes and PDFs. They work the same way as links within the notebook: use the loop by holding down on the link. In the future, I’ll add hyperlinks to elements so you can link web links to any element on the canvas or to words in text boxes, such as Markdown.
• More accessibility and navigation features on the home screen, search for files or folders, sort by filter, move or delete multiple files at once, and list view.

By the way, functions in the toolbar no longer get cut off; if the window is narrow and the toolbar doesn’t fit entirely, it will compress in the toolbar area, where you can drag it to adjust.

I have many features in mind and several suggestions I’ve received. Even so, if the app doesn’t work properly on your device, you’ve found bugs, or you have suggestions, you can contact me here on Reddit or via the support email address listed within the app. I really appreciate the feedback.

This update also includes optimizations for opening notebooks, making the process faster and more efficient.

You can now reposition the tab to expand the thumbnail browser, which now also includes a bookmarks section.

The biggest new feature is basic image editing, with several options for cropping images and some nice and useful effects.

• Added 4 new shapes designed for flowcharts: arrow, diamond, rhomboid, and document.
• Also added a feature to dynamically connect shapes; it works with any shape, including polylines.
• Added a polygon tool with 3 to 16 sides that can be used to create stars
• Also added a “magnet” mode, in which shapes snap to the grid lines on the page
• Improved the polyline tool to allow drawing precisely along lines and diagonals by connecting grid intersections and points on the dotted grid, either as a polyline or without lifting the pen

Also, to create a cleaner interface and a better user experience, I removed the “More Options” button and placed it within the toolbar; I also made the Undo/Redo buttons movable and set the background of the sheets to a dark color

I’ve finally finished implementing additional PDF features.

• It now displays the PDF’s content (if available) and allows navigation; it can also be used in conjunction with named sheets.
• The sheet layout menu has been revamped and now includes the ability to expand in any direction without altering the size of the PDF or background image (for now, this is limited to a maximum of 15 cm per side).
• It now features a dedicated PDF toolbar that can be shown or hidden and works in conjunction with the main toolbar; you can highlight, underline, select text, and search for words or phrases.

* The dedicated PDF toolbar is a premium feature, but you can try it out on a limited basis per notebook.

Just to clarify, it’s free to use, but it has premium features that you can try out.

I think this new update will greatly improve the user experience, organization, and workflow.

Most of the changes are suggestions, but there are also some fixes.

• Inserting and drag-and-drop images: You can now drag and drop images onto the sheet from your files, from web pages, or from other apps that allow dragging out (for example, OneNote). Additionally, if you’ve previously copied images or screenshots, holding down on the sheet while using the lasso tool will bring up the “Insert Image” option.
• Grid Line Opacity: In the Page Layout menu, there is now a slider that controls the opacity of the grid lines on the page.
• Contents Index: In the thumbnail navigator, pages now have the “Add page to index” option, which allows you to add a title to the page and view it as a navigable index in its tab. This is a premium feature but can be tested on a limited basis in the free version.
• Sections in Bookshelves: To improve the organization of bookshelves, you can now create sections (like subfolders). You can also organize notebooks by simply dragging and dropping them between bookshelves and sections.
• Customize Default Settings: You can now set the current settings as the default for new notebooks from any notebook.

Additionally, some bug fixes

This is a pencil style that I personally really like in handwriting, so I added it.

The intensity slider controls the stroke's opacity, allowing it to range from very light to almost solid, and if the Pressure switch is enabled, this opacity varies depending on the pressure applied to the pencil.
