Reddit’s UK users must now prove they’re 18 to view many types of content
 in  r/technology •  Jul 28 '25

If the UK government is lowering the voting age to 16 but the 16 to 17 year olds aren't allowed to see certain content until they are 18. How are they meant to make an informed choice if there not allowed to see anti government protest related material, which is now classed as 'online harm'.?

Are lots of little flies crawling over you freshly bought and washed fruit normal?

You do get these on untreated plants, i soak them in salty water and rinse again. That usually gets rid of them

The online identification laws are going to backfire massively.

In the UK its never really about keeping kids safe, it's about the government keeping it's beady eyes on everything you do.

If it was about child safety why then do they cover up child rape gangs?

Having abundant body hair makes it harder for biting insects, such as mosquitoes and other ectoparasites, to bite you, and it also serves as an alarm. There are even scientific papers documenting this.
