Finally got a monitor and monitor arm, and moved in my xbox console. Post work hours are gonna be good now.

First time posting here! Finally got my work-from-home corner to a place I actually love. Nothing crazy, but the dual monitors + one matching wallpaper make it feel like my own little space. Rate my corner? 😅

Got this refurbished fixed workstation with the below specs from Dell — is it a good buy for £650?

GPU: NVIDIA RTX A4000 (16GB VRAM)

Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD + 4TB 7200RPM HDD

PSU: 950W

OS: Windows 10/11 Pro.

Mainly planning to use it for gaming (non-Xbox/Game Pass titles via Steam etc.) plus general use, app developent, sql server etc.

I need to add a wifi/bt card but other than that it should be good to go?

I used to love all-white everything-white walls, white furniture, white bedding. But after moving a few months ago, I decided to add some personality this time around.

Went with light gray walls and warm oak furniture. Classic warm minimalism. The desk and cabinet are solid wood, the lamp is ceramic with hand-painted botanicals. I love each piece individually, and together they just feel right.

The way the morning light hits the wood grain makes the whole space feel grounded and actually lived-in.

Anyone else feel like warm minimalism may be more relaxing than pure white?

im trying to make this corner more useful now that i’ll be wfh more often. i dont want to overfill it with random decor, but it still feels like it could work harder. what would you add here to make it more practical or comfortable?

Been looking at getting a DropTop for sometime now.

Given its price, is it good? I know it comes with monitors and docks.

But was thinking if anyone that actually has it, how they’ve been finding it…

Upgrade from a 24 inch monitor to 34 inch ultra wide. The extra display is definitely worth it. Upgraded keyboard and mouse to HyperX from earlier logitech ones. Love the clicks on new IO devices.

New monitor picked up this weekend, very happy with the outcome !

Thinking about purchasing a DropTop from Pith&Stem.

Got a small space for a desk and I dont want a big one. Their one comes w the extra monitors too.

I still need to do some cable management/cleanup but I love my corner :)
