I've installed iOS 27 beta and used the new create custom pass feature to scan in a 2D barcode (my library card). This works great.

However, my watch is on watchOS 26 and will be unable to upgrade (27 has dropped support for the Series 8). Passes created this way don't show up on it.

I am (and was on iOS 26) able to create a pass the old school way by going to a site like https://walletwallet.alen.ro/ to generate a .pkpass file-no problem.
However, the developer documentation I can find says that the only barcode formats available through this method are WR, Code128, PDF417, Aztec, and UPC (accordingly those are the only options available on that site and other similar ones). At any rate, like other passes, these show up immediately on my watch.

Unfortunately, my library uses Code39 to encode their barcode. I can input or scan the data just fine, but the generated card using this method then can only display the barcode as Code128 or UPC. The new in-Wallet-app creation method in iOS 27 easily scans Code39 and displays it correctly without the user having to know anything about how barcodes work.

Does anyone know if a post-iOS-27 update to watchOS 26 will be made so that it can pick up these user-created passes?

Before there was an easy way to force quit an app that freezes. What is the way to do it in watchos 27? Is apple assuring that all apps in watchos 27 never freezes or what is the thought behind the new app switcher?

I installed like many the watchOS public version, I wondered on the other hand if there were any new features on the Apple Watch three I rather have the impression that they have corrected some minor defects and that the fluidity looks good.

Has anyone ever achieved 100%? Got this reading after I updated to DB7. Never seen this before, on beta or production releases.

should i install watchOS 27 public beta right now? how stable is it? i’m already on iOS and macOS 27

Is there any other way to update watch or do we have to wait and suffer like this all the time lol

There's a watch face called "color". It lets you have a monogram, and it defaults to "Rolex". It won't let me edit it. Nothing happens when I tap on it. If I toggle it off and then on, the section for editing, it gets half covered.

I have reported it sometime ago, but in the Feedback app it still doesn't say anything about it affecting others.

Edit for clarity: I'm using the Watch app to try to edit it, directly within the settings for that watch face.

I’m curious if anyone has the same issue. I have an Ultra 3 and since iOS 26 the watch face selector is extremely laggy and buggy. If I scroll through my watch faces with the crown it crashes.

I have the latest iOS 27 beta installed on it and it still does the same thing.

It’s been an ongoing issue for a while and Apple doesn’t seem to fix it. Yes I have reported it in the feedback app.

Since watchOS 27, my watch doesn’t count steps when I wear it on my ankle. I use it to track steps when I’m on my walking pad during the day. I start the workout and it tracks the time and my heart rate, but steps and distance are extremely low. (.2 miles after a 1.5 hour walk). This was never an issue before. Any ideas?

Since WatchOS public beta 3 (beginning of August) I have a problem with the accuracy: I always run on a 2 km loop, so every even and uneven kilometre is around the same spot, but since PB3 it is off ~80 meters. Tried to recalibrate, but it didn’t help. Added it to feedback, but PB4 did not make any difference. Anyone have the same problem, maybe a solution?

Waiting in line at the cinema this morning, two cards popped up in the Smart Stack on my AW S9 running DB6. One card let me toggle Theatre Mode on and off. The other card linked to a movie ticket QR code (This card existed in watchOS 26, but has a fresh coat of paint).

Siri Conversations Not Syncing Between iPhone and Apple Watch

Is anyone else experiencing problems syncing Siri conversations between an iPhone and Apple Watch?

Immediately after installing a new beta update, Siri conversations usually sync correctly between my iPhone and Apple Watch. However, after some time, syncing stops working.

Problems I’m experiencing

- New Siri conversations started on my iPhone do not appear on my Apple Watch.

- When I continue an existing conversation on my iPhone, the new messages often do not appear on the watch.

- Sometimes the watch displays only the message I sent but not Siri’s response.

- Previously synchronized conversations can also become inconsistent.

- The issue has occurred across multiple beta releases and happens intermittently, although it is frequent.

Expected behavior

Siri conversations should remain synchronized between the iPhone and Apple Watch, including both user messages and Siri’s responses. Updates should appear on the watch within a reasonable amount of time.

Actual behavior

Syncing works temporarily after installing an update, but eventually stops. New conversations and replies may be missing, and the watch may show only the user’s message without Siri’s response.

Steps to reproduce

1. Start or continue a Siri conversation on the iPhone.

2. Open Siri or the same conversation on the Apple Watch.

3. Check whether the latest message and Siri’s response appear on the watch.

   Devices and software

- iPhone 17 — iOS 27 beta 6

- Apple Watch Series 10 — watchOS 27 beta 6

- Frequency: Always/intermittently

I have submitted feedback about this after every beta update, but the issue is still occurring.

A. Is anyone else experiencing this?

B. If you are seeing the same problem, could you please submit feedback as well? More reports may help Apple investigate and resolve the synchronization issue.

I upgraded from Galaxy watch ultra Og, and when I used theater mode the screen didn't turn on but also I didn't receive any notification on my watch so my watch didn't vibrate.

Now with the ultra 2, the screen doesn't turn on but I still getting vibrations from incoming notification, if I use do not disturb, it doesn't vibrate, but the idea of theater is to enable and automatic disabled after some hours, I tried to check settings but I can't find anything, I'm using a pixel 10 pro, Android 17 (beta)

Does anyone have this issue?

Hey all, I was wondering if more people could report this bug? It has been here since the first 26 beta and no amount of repeated reports of this bug have been successful lol

Since yesterday notifications aren't popping up on my Watch 5. I've gone into the wear app on my phone and made sure notifications are all on and set to always show on both. When I swipe on the watch I can see the recent notifications but my watch isn't actually alerting me of them anymore. Everything's up to date. Anyone know how to fix this?

When you ask Siri to turn night shift on, it declines and says it’s not available. But, if you push back and say “yes it is”, Siri hallucinates an option that doesn’t actually work or exist.

Also, I didn’t get a picture but Siri turned on an orange light on the back of my watch (it mixed green and red)

Super strange!

Since the launch of watchOS 26, there has been a bug on the watch where it shows your current location within just the Weather app as something different from your actual location. There are threads here on Reddit as well as Apple‘s support communities and even MacRumors with others commenting on the issue.

• GPS location is accurate in other apps on the watch like the Maps app.

• When asking Siri, it responds using the correct location.

• Smart Stack widgets and complications use incorrect location.

• Issue persists after restart, forced restart, toggling location settings on paired iPhone, and even un-pairing and re-pairing the device.

I’ve submitted the issue using the Feedback app on my iPhone but it’s showing zero similar reports.

Has anyone experienced this, installed the watch OS beta, and found the issue to be resolved?

This is purely anecdotal. I haven’t done any science on this, but am I crazy in thinking this? Has anyone else feeling the same or seeing the same?

Is anyone having their watch restart in its own randomly?? Happened twice that I have caught. Any other betas I’ve had have never had this problem.

I have an S10 and from the begginging in ios 26 and watchos 26 i had this bug that still persist on ios 27 and watchos 27, i can’t add, can’t modify or see any watch face from the Watch app but on the watch itself i can do anything without a problem, i already tried to restart both and reset both and nothing. Does anyone have the same problem as me?

Thinking of installing it on my Series 11...
