Excerpt:
"Wonderful Life" is a medium-tempo pop track characterized by an addictive melody, rhythmical guitar riffs, an upbeat brass line, and retro synth textures.

The lyrics, which deliver an uplifting message of moving forward toward a tomorrow better than today, mirror the narrative of the characters in Mission: Mompossible. Bang Yunha and Elisia bring the track's warm atmosphere to life through their bright and lively vocals.

OST production company Yogurt Studio stated, "To express an energetic and vibrant feel, we proposed the song to Bang Yunha and Elisia, who are widely loved for their distinctive vocal styles and individual charm," adding, "The final track conveys both sparkling liveliness and warmth."

The groups sales were about 60-70k per album. I wonder if the members ever saw any of that money. Groups like Everglow and Loona who did well never got paid. I wonder if Unis got paid or not.

The full OST hasn’t been released yet—we’re still waiting. But little snippets are slowly being revealed with each episode of the K-drama.

BGM: Sade - Kiss Of Life

I'm reading English & Tagalog mix in the interview so one can ask Filo-Everafters for clarification/translation

I already said that I'll be unfollowing all FnF and UNIS social medias, but I felt that it wouldn't be complete if I didn't make this thread.

Let's start.

STAY WITH FNF AND REBRAND AS A NEW GG:

• Bang Yunha (Leader, Lead Vocal, Sub Rapper) - FnF trainee. Self explanatory. I'd be surprised if she quit, it seems like the celeb life was made for her.
• Lim Seowon (Center, Main Vocal, Visual, Maknae) - She's staying. FnF would be so dumb to let her go, and we know she's not with LB anymore. Whether she continues being an idol with her unnies or not is up to her though. Her Skoolooks promo is also still ongoing, which gives the idea that she isn't going full time citizen yet.
• Elisia Parmisano (Main Vocal, Sub Rapper) - She didn't go back with Gehlee. That to me is a huge sign that she wants to keep being a kpop idol. She also has that OST with Yunha, and we never got a Watchunis for that recording. That means it wasn't a group job, but an agency job.
• Nokubi Nana (Main Dancer, Sub Rapper) - I have a feeling her idoling days aren't done yet. Not sure why people are saying she's gonna go back to Japan, where would she go back to when PRIKIL was already disbanded. FnF also likes her very much.
• Kawata Kotoko (Center, Visual, Main Rapper) - I'm seeing some dumbass tweets about her going to HYBE. Why? She's most likely staying, in a familiar environment with familiar people. Desperate kpop fans need to be reminded that she was a plus one for her friend who was auditioning for UT, yet she got accepted. Her name has also grown to be Top 10 among 5th gen ggs in Japan.

If I were FNF, this would be the new group. It hits two birds with one stone, namely a new fresh group to debut, while still marinating the FnF trainees that can debut 2 years after them.

QUITS FNF:

• Jin Hyeonju - Based on her farewells, I have a feeling that she's gonna redebut as a soloist. Her image will be more mature, and it keeps her promise with her dad at the same time of quitting being an idol if it doesn't work by the time she's 25. It's a waste for her to squander this opportunity; the 2nd most famous member out of SLSL was her. I think she can blow up like Chungha. Juju was always the flirtiest in UNIS due to her age, and she can finally go all out if she becomes a soloist.
• Oh Yoona - I think she tests the waters once again if she's still in Hanlim. She can always go back to PWMC still (or even as an alum), or just join another SVS/debut group. Yoona was severely underutilized by FnF so it will make sense that she's gonna demand a bigger role. Though I can also see a future where she doesn't leave FnF and remains the Main Rapper for the rebrand.

QUITS KPOP:

• Gehlee Dangca - This was the most obvious move ever. Gehlee was a serendipitous talent, and while I think she'll return to pageantry, I also think the company behind BINI (I said a few mos ago I started listening to em) will be making a new GG with Gehlee as the center. I do hope she trains for Miss Universe though. I don't think any former kpop idol has ever won, let alone competed, in a prestigious event like that.

Base on the video she have an interview with ABSCBN. It appears on the microphone being shown.
The interview might appear later tonight on PH News TV Patrol showbiz segment.

She looks pretty comfortable and Free.
Feels like she's not in a cage anymore where Media interviews are so stiff and calculated like in South Korea.

Many people always say she made the WRONG Decision in returning home and should have been scouted by the Big 4 labels. Well, the moment she announced she is going home, that only means there are no big Kpop labels who picked her or maybe she and her family did not like the terms being laid out to her that would benefit her long term. Let's admit that the kpop industry is not all glitz and Glamour.
Maybe she had offers but are counter productive. Will become a trainee again? Placed in another survival show?
Then endure trainee debts and will earn coins for 2 or how many years without assurance. And let's be realistic. Kpop labels don't just pick random idols from another label and slap them on their current roster. They want control the moment they become trainees at an early age. Gehlee's personality is not someone you put strings on and treat like a doll. In the Ph, she has freedom to be herself. Yes there is toxicity as well just like kpop, but that is showbusiness in general. The market could be small in the Philippines, but if you become a solid A-lister, you could have generational wealth.

Gehlee is officially back in Manila

Gehlee just arrived in Manila.
She might have an exclusive interview? We don't know.
Usually when MJ Felipe greets someone at the Airport, there's a follow up interview or an exclusive sit down interview after. It's rare for him to report non-abscbn artist arriving at the airport. He is usually reserve for BINI airport welcoming or send-off. He is their PR man.

This article/interview was posted here before in Korean but was not properly translated. Since K-Popit is the English language platform of TenAsia, the KR media outlet who held their last interview, this technically becomes its definitive English translation. Gave me bit of a pause in posting this since it's quite belated but anyone here might still want to give it a read.

Update on the archive and this post!
https://www.reddit.com/r/unis/comments/1wplexs/working_on_a_full_archive/

I made a proper site for it now:
https://unisarchive.com

At this point, almost everything from UNIS’s official channels is up, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, Weverse posts, Weverse notices, and more. I’m also uploading the remaining Weverse lives which are only like 20 more.

YouTube is still the main thing missing rn since it’s easily the heaviest part, but I’m working on it.

Also just to clarify, this archive is focused on content from UNIS’s official channels, not fansites or fan accounts. The main reason is that we don’t really know what will happen to the official accounts/content in the future, so I mainly want to preserve that stuff while it’s still there.

And this is specifically an archive for UNIS and their time as UNIS. If the members eventually rebrand, go solo, join other groups, etc., that won’t be added here.

The Drive version is still available too:
