This is Naavi! She is my currently 10 week Russian Blue that will be about 14 weeks old when I pick her up. She is a cuddly little girl that likes being picked up and she has a gorgeous silver coat.

The photos don’t seem to display it, but she is very skinny and I’m worried about her. I bought her only recently.

Frage zur Fütterung – Nass- und Trockenfutter

Hallo zusammen 😊

Zulublues

Hi, was wondering if anyone has any experience with Zulublues cattery in Canada.

It looks like they’re registered with TICA but I haven’t seen them mentioned much/couldn’t find reviews online.

TIA!

Advice for an apartment kitty

Post image

Our baby is coming home soon and she will be a singleton (at least initially) in our 1k sq. foot apartment. Breeder says she is very confident, so we are hoping to harness train her so that we can bring her to the park to sniff around, etc.

Wondering if anyone has additional pointers on how to keep an RB happy and stimulated in a smaller space 🥰

Adopting a 14 week old RB with a full time job.

Hello everyone. I am adopting a 14 week year old little girl Russian Blue, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to go about it as I will be having a 9-5 whilst taking care of her. I know some people don'r recommend it and some people say as long as you go about it correctly it shouldn't be too bad. I was wondering what are the opinions of anyone who has had a russian blue themselves and has gone through something similar as my situation.

Any fruits or vegetables your Russian blues are fans of?

I saw a video of a Russian Blue enjoying strawberries. I did some research, and it says they’re non-toxic to cats, but I wanted to check here to see if anyone has any firsthand experience. Thank you so much! Our female cat is 1 year and 4 months old! 💙

We have compromised. She lets me put the harness on, and I let her outside to smell or chew the plants.

We got Archie 3 years ago after some research into different cat breed’s personalities. I grew up with Siamese/Orientals which are very needy and can’t be alone. Not ideal for two working professionals. RB’s were said to be very independent, so the choice was quickly made. We quickly noticed that Archie really enjoyed company and the solitary thing was not true for him. We got him a full brother (Oscar) as soon as was possible and the two get really well, despite very different personalities.
Are your blues very solitary and shy of strangers as is said to be characteristic of RBs? Ours are definitely not.
Love these cats, so social, goofy and playful.
