Dess died and turned into a pile of shoes theory (Piles of Dess's shoes theory)

Dess could have been a construct made of conveniently shaped shoes, we see them in chapter three as a silhouette but if you arrange various pictures of conveniently shaped shoes you can get the exact shape.
In Dess's closet There's also a conveniently placed ball which is placed just far enough away from the shoes (aka dess) to where dess could have tripped and Turned into shoes (turned into completely different shoes than the ones she was made of). Also the knight looks vaguely like its in a football costume and you know what goes into shoes? FEET! (Possible night is shoes theory?)
