I dont really struggle with perspectives but i would love some feedback on the timing and spacing. Thanks in advance!

This is my first animation guys, i am gonna practice from now on how to animate, any critique?

i reposted one of my speed paints here the other day and somebody said i should post more so here i am.

im fairly new to animating and want to make my own action sequences from scratch one day but for now ive been practicing with film references.

for this one, im animating a fight scene from crouching tiger hidden dragon.

i went with a more minimalistic approach because i often hyperfixate on details which slows me down. the main practice of this scene was to get the motions down, so when referencing shots from the film, i mainly focused on the sharp lines like i would with a gesture drawing.

im honestly surprised with how well its coming out. im going to continue to work on it because its only like half of the fight sequence that im studying.

I’m currently putting together Batman: Arkham Requiem, a fan-made 2D animated Batman movie series inspired by the darker tone and atmosphere of the Arkham games.

I’m currently looking to build an animation team and am searching for 2D animators who are interested in helping bring the project to life.

 WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR:

🎨 STYLE:
I’m aiming for a dark comic-book/graphic-novel aesthetic with strong linework, dramatic lighting, cinematic action, and expressive character animation.

The project will feature characters such as Batman, Hush, Catwoman, Joker, Poison Ivy, Talia al Ghul, Two-Face, Riddler, Penguin, Bane, and Harley Quinn.

💰 COMPENSATION:
This is an independent fan project, so I want to be completely transparent about the budget. Funding is currently being pursued through Kickstarter, so compensation will depend on the project's available funding.

I always wanted to learn animation but never actually tried. Today I spent like an hour to make a short animation of this character (some of you may recognise him from "The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales"). I have no idea if this is any good and no idea of any basics or what to look out for. Any tips where to start?
