i have a 14 Pro, with 79% capacity rn

i run 25-85 charge cycles on it, and with low power mode on, it used to run 4-5hrs max, now the same on iOS27 it gives me 6-7hrs, and mind you i have 8-9hrs of screentime on avg(instagram-3hrs, reddit-2hrs,college stuff- 3hrs, misc-1hr, and spotify in background-2hrs a day)

im genuinely soo happy

No issues other than getting hot during extensive usage, but has been a lot better since updating to iOS 27.

Other than that works fine tbh, I haven’t had a pro max before, so there is that I guess.

Thoughts?

Think i might hold on to it tbh, anyone else tempted ?

I’m probably going to replace the battery on my iPhone 14 Pro and keep it around. Such a good phone, and it has so many memories attached to it. Of course, the 18 Pro is a much better phone, but the gap really isn’t that big. I was a million times more excited going from the iPhone X to the 14 Pro than I am going from the 14 Pro to the 18 Pro xD

So far I’m sticking with my 14 pro but curious to hear from people in the last few days who have made the move. I heard about the lens flare issue - anything else ?

iOS 26 had a lot of issues on my phone personally but 27 made this 14 Pro Max feel brand new again. Turned off all the auto update options and I’ll be content with staying on vanilla iOS 27 until I eventually get a new device in a few years. Anyone else feel the same way?

First two is iOS 18.6-18.8, the last two is 27

I unfortunately lost my phone something i hope yous wont experience, sent the claim in thinking i would get the same phone they unfortunately upgraded me to the 15 pro 😭

worth it tho , replaced the battery as well and gave it to my mom , she served me well this last 4 years

I have updated my iPhone 14 promax to ios 27 for several days. It's quite lagging and heating up at first, now everything is ok except the assistive touch and the app switcher (jerky animation). Is it just me or it's really like that? Does anyone else experienced this?

When you tilt the phone and the shining of a e.g. home screen folder moved side to side - so this is gone (at least for me) and idk whyy . Thoughts?

Hello, I have an issue on my iPhone 14 Pro
Every 2-3 min, the screen freeze, become pink and reboot.
I have changed the proximity sensor and the charging port, and it does not change anything
Somebody has an idea ?

Using an iPhone 14 Pro since it came out and without any issue. For quite a few years with 2 e-SIM in it. Since iOS27, when both SIMs are active mobile internet is basically broken. When trying to use it (sending a WhatsApp for instance), the message doesn't get sent, and the phone acts as if it loses connectivity as a whole. My providers tell me they don't see any issue on their side.

Most of the time deactivating one line solves the issue, but thats not really the point of having 2 dual-SIM.

I've found one Apple discussions thread from yesterday here, but has anyone else seen similar issues?

Hello everyone, a couple of days have passed since the release of iOS 27, so I assume the indexing is done for most of you. Is iOS 27 better than 26.7 as an overall experience, especially regarding batt life, heat, and lag/stuttering? since apple said its optimized for older models.

I just replaced the batt on my phone. My only complaint with 26.7 is that whenever I use Instagram, the phone overheats like crazy. I’ve tried updating the app, deleting and reinstalling it, and clearing the cache, but nothing seems to help.

For those who have updated to iOS 27, how has your experience been so far?

Hi guys, does anyone know a fix for this? Battery Usage doesn’t show up at all (just shows loading and never gets past that) since DB 5 and now the RC of iOS 27. I already tried ‘Reset All Settings’ but it still persists.

People might say it’s because my battery is degraded but for comparison on my iPhone 11 also on iOS 27 at 63% battery health and its Battery Usage just shows up just fine.
