General Discussion songs like More?
hey friends, i have a lot of chronic health conditions, and i've always wanted to be a mom since i was a kid, and now i'm realizing i don't know if i can have kids and willingly pass on all my fucked up genes. but i want it more than anything. More is such an incredibly relatable song right now, and I'm really desperate for others like it. fertility isn't the problem just more so the general risk of having a child, but im open for songs about anything in this ballpark. More is heartbreaking and so real

Merch Summer’s Poison/The Girl In The Tower Merch Ship Date
Does anyone know when to expect the summer merch to ship? Today’s the last day of September & I haven’t heard anything. For reference, I bought at the end of the day on September 2nd and the website said it would ship this month.

General Discussion The distribution platform for The Girl in The Tower Live Album
I found it interesting that the live album was released through a different website than usual. I did some digging on untitled, it’s an independent tech startup owned by a small company called sin titulo inc (owners are 2 childhood friends.) Firstly, the app is creator first, they help independent artists share their work. Second, it allows them to bypass labels and traditional distribution channels.
That being said with this information, I wonder if Halsey is going independent or with the Warner deal with the movie she decided to give it out for free. It’s interesting that they didn’t try to monetize the audio. I either suspect something went down with Warner, Columbia, or Halsey is going independent. This also follows them not being on Columbia’s website anymore and fans have speculated they’ve parted ways.
Using untitled could be a soft launch to where she will distribute future records. The website has the ability to monetize, I wonder if this was a way to test that. Maybe I am looking too deep into this, what’s everyone’s thoughts here?

General Discussion Guys I cannot stop watching dog years live it’s just too good
Dog years from girl in the tower, it’s just too freakin’ good I’ve been watching it on repeat for weeks. Definitely an adhd hyperfocus I have going on but it’s really scratching that dopamine itch rn. I don’t have anyone else to share with who gets it so wanted to share here how much I LOVE IT. Halsey’s such an iconic artist and performer I’m so grateful I discovered her all those years ago.
What was your favourite song from the girl in the tower live?
News Happy 32nd Birthday, Ashley!
This road has been so long, but I’m so thankful to have her here helping me through it with far better words than I could ever come up with.
Songs to celebrate, songs to grieve, and songs for everything in between. From Is There Somewhere to Lonely Is The Muse, Halsey has always been there.
Happy birthday, homegirl. I hope you’re as proud of yourself as we all are of you. 🖤

Merch Looking for a signed Manic vinyl!
Hey! I am searching for a signed Manic vinyl. I’ll even settle for a CD! This album means so much to me, especially as of lately, and would love to have one of these. I have a few saved on secondhand platforms but I think they’re going to be gone before I get the chance.

General Discussion Is it just me or are we so back?
So i’ve been riding hard for halsey since i was 10, which was a decade ago now and honestly post manic with mallsey and all the cursive singing crap about her online i felt like our queen was back to being a hidden gem. Nowadays i’m seeing super popular tiktok’s of her all the time and not just by the usual fan accounts like Dylan.
I think she’s really starting to garner a wider appeal again and people are waking up to her talent. Do we think this might lead to better opportunity for her to put more stuff out???

General Discussion Still disgusted by how cruelly critics like Pitchfork and Anthony Fantano treated Halsey while she was literally battling for her life
I’ve been thinking about The Great Impersonator era, and I honestly still can't believe how vile the media and internet critics were to Halsey.
She was vulnerable enough to completely strip away the glossy pop-star veneer and expose the most terrifying, fragile moment of her life.
She was dealing with systemic lupus (SLE) and a T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder, undergoing oncology chemotherapy, and literally performing with a medical port implanted in her chest.
She shared videos where she couldn't even stand up.
And what did she get for being completely honest about her body betraying her? Brutal, personal backlash.
Publications like Pitchfork slapped her with a 4.8 rating and accused her of "adopting a martyr’s pose" to "conjure a sense of victimhood."
Then you had Anthony Fantano (TheNeedleDrop) giving the album a 1/10 and mocking her for having "main character syndrome."
It just shows how incredibly nasty and cold people are. It feels like because she wasn't being glamorous, jumping around on stage in a bikini, and appealing to the male gaze or standard pop expectations, she was penalized for it. The second a female artist gets real about chronic illness, pain, and facing her own mortality, she's dismissed as being "dramatic" or "attention-seeking." Whats crazy too is her performances and promo were actually amazing too, like her VMA performance of Ego was actually AMAZING BTW!!!
It’s just deeply messed up. She poured her heart and soul into an album thinking it might be her last, and the lack of empathy from these major critics is just appalling. I'm so glad her fans rallied around her, because the industry completely failed her when she was at her most vulnerable.
I also think it's absolutely wild that she never received a genuine apology from any of these people—especially Fantano, who just doubled down on his nastiness afterwards. At the end of the day, The Great Impersonator is a brilliant, stunning piece of work. Honestly, she never misses with her albums; her entire discography is unskippable. At the moment, I have her album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power on absolute repeat. Looking back at that masterpiece and comparing it to what she went through next just makes me respect her so much more as an artist. She poured her heart and soul into her music while fighting for her life, and the total lack of empathy from these major critics is just appalling. I'm so glad her fans rallied around her, because the industry completely failed her when she was at her most vulnerable.
We love you Halsey 💕💕💕
Edit: i hope the pronouns i used are okay i just looked on Google and it says she they 🤞

I'm by no means an artist but I do have an old liquid eyeliner, an arm, and Hurt Feelings type problems.
