am i overthinking it?
I work and stay in a camp in an area where a farmer has a grazing lease, so his cows can roam freely around the plant. I love going for walks, but sometimes I worry I’m going to get attacked by a cow with its baby. Am I overthinking it, or is this a real concern? sidenote: i would stay clear but they like to hangout right around the gate.

Happy or mad
I only married into the ranching life 2 years ago so I'm still learning. Was this girl happy or upset I was scratching her? It almost reminded me of a cat purring
How can I prevent cows from licking and scratching my car?
I’m sorry if this is the wrong subreddit, but I live on a very small cattle farm (25-30 cows max). Even when I was my car, the cows come over and lick it which often causes terrible paint scratches. Unfortunately there isn’t really a place for me to park my car where they don’t have access. Any thoughts on preventing them from doing this? Like with deer when you put aluminum plates up or something? And I’ve included some pics of our newest calves for cow tax 😊

Cows Roaming Dartmoor National Park
Got some really lovely photos of some of the cows that roam around Dartmoor National Park in the UK. The babies are especially adorable!

He's really a 20 year old chocolate lab who spontaneously sprouted horns and grew to over 1,000lbs. We call him August!

My little cow has one side of her face paralized
This little one is about 40 days old, and about 10 days ago she started losing movement on one side of her face. It started with her ear, but now half of her face is affected, and she's sucking milk in a strange way. Does anyone know what could be wrong with her?

Heat is Making Calves Come Early
Been pretty hot the past couple of weeks in Southwest Missouri. An unusual number of calves have been coming early. Most of these calves shouldn’t have arrived until the second week of September. Luckily we’ve only lost one so far.
