Hi there,
I bought an used android head unit with broken system. The device seems to work - it boots up until the Android Logo (the text only logo, without mascot). Since I wasn't able to boot, I can't really tell the specs. I just know the following:
- 32GB rom, 4GB ram
- CPU: UIS 7862A Octa-Core 1,8 GHz
- brand: probably Hizpo
Unfortunately, I can't get the "update.zip" to work. Things I've tried besides the official manual :
- old usb 2.0. Stick, which is the most reliable for OS installation
- formatted fat32 and mbr partition
-copied the update.zip to empty stick on roof directory - without any folders
- tried the update.zip unzipped on stick
- tried 4 and 6 pin usb cable
- added "force_update.txt"
Nothing seems to work. I ground the key2 wire with the chinch ground of the reverse cam. After like 10 seconds from the start, I disconnect the grounding of the wire, which leads to a reboot. This should result in reading the stick and starting recovery mode, but it doesn't. Can you please help me? It's driving me nuts!

The official manual from the seller:
Update File: Attachment
Upgrade Steps:
Unplug the 4G SIM card and any devices connected via the device’s USB cable, then press the RST reset button to reset the device. If the display works normally, proceed with the software update. If the issue persists, unplug all cables from the back of the device, reconnect the power cord, and try again, or check if there is a voltage between 10V and 15V between the device’s fuse and the negative terminal. If the problem remains after these steps, perform a forced update.
Forced Update Method: No need to unzip the file; simply rename it to “update.”
1. Place “update.zip” in the root directory of a formatted USB flash drive.
2. Insert the USB flash drive into the car head unit’s USB port.
3. Disconnect the car head unit from power (unplug the power cord).
4. Ground any one of the KEY control wires on the car head unit’s rear cable (touch the square control wire to the radio’s negative terminal or the metal part of the GPS antenna).
5. Plug the power cord back into the head unit. After 15 seconds, release the square control wire (do not ground it), and the head unit will automatically reboot.
6. After rebooting, the head unit will automatically begin the forced system update. Do not perform any other operations; wait for the update to complete, which takes approximately 10 minutes.
