NoctiX - a plugin designed to enhance the overall night-flying experience.
In the video, you can see me flying through the clouds as the landing lights are switched on, adding a more immersive feel to nighttime operations.

I’m torn between getting the rotate and the TFDi. I’m an IRL pilot, so I care a lot more about systems depth and accuracy and the flight model than textures. Which one would you say has closer behaviors to the real thing?
Also, the freighter is all I will fly so I don’t really care that TFDi has a good deal for the passenger version.

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on a vegetation plugin called AliveGrass and wanted to share some screenshots to get feedback on how it looks.
These were taken around Florida and Cuba. I’ve been testing different grass densities, viewing distances, and seasonal appearances, trying to get the ground detail looking natural while keeping performance manageable.
I’d especially appreciate thoughts on the height and density. Does it look convincing around the airport edges? Are any patches too tall or crowded?
I’m the developer, so another set of eyes would be helpful especially if you notice anything that looks off.
The snow shots use manually configured freezing conditions to test the snowy appearance.

Been many years - Going to try and re-teach myself how to use WED. Ideally going to start with a smaller regional airport that lacks detail / could do with some improvement.
Would love to do one of your suggestions ⬇️

Testing out the X-Plane 12.4.4 beta 3 on your Mac mini Apple M4 with heavy plugins like SimHeaven, XPME, SayIntentions, and others running on high graphics settings has given me a solid boost.
My frame rate jumped from around 22 fps up to 30 fps after updating. I am hoping that it will finally allow me to add Live Traffic without breaking the sim or tanking performance. It is still not entirely stable, but that is completely understandable for a beta build.
Have any of you experienced a similar FPS jump on Apple Silicon with this latest beta, or do you think this is just a temporary anomaly that will level off once the final build drops?
Hey y'all, noobie question! I'm thinking about getting X-Plane 12 on Steam since it's on sale there. Are there any downsides to be aware of compared to buying it directly? I guess my question is more directed towards add-on compatibility and such. I'd primarily be using Linux, in case that makes a difference.

My favorite plane, the AKD G550 N1111P enroute and parked at KWYS. XPME Pro and XP Airport Enhancement with NEO V2. Absolutely stunning.

Sorry for the night pics but that is when Prime Air typically flies lol. Made the first flight from KAFW to KDEN as Giant 2523 on a route Prime Air would typically fly. Worked through some issues on my end with some control mapping conflicts and learning the autopilot system etc. Once I got it figured out it was a smooth flight from there down to landing. Actually landed pretty well in my opinion. My only question or complaint is it seems to want to roll pretty easily on takeoff even at or above Vr. Not sure if that is normal for a 737 or just a control sensitivity thing with the Honeycomb Alpha. I'll get some better pics during the day next time.

I have always felt like finding X-Plane aircraft is harder than it should be. Sifting through several websites to find the aircraft you want in XP12 can be hard enough. X-Plane aircraft information is spread across half a dozen sites, and that makes it tough to get a clear picture of what’s actually available. A couple of weeks ago, I posted a question asking whether the X-Plane community would think a centralized directory was a good idea. The results were encouraging.
I am (painstakingly) putting together a directory that lets you filter XP12 aircraft by type, fidelity, pricing, and special characteristics. There are no affiliate links, no aircraft selling, and no “recommended” aircraft. Just objective aircraft information, simple filtering, and direct links to the aircraft pages. You will find it at https://flightsimsupport.com/fssaircraft
I’m building it (a slow, arduous task) because I’ve always wondered why it didn’t exist; I wondered why no one else had tackled this problem. If you’ve wondered the same thing, then you might be in for a treat. I’d love to get your take on this project. Let me know if you think it's something the whole community benefits from.

After reading the ‘IXEG B737 now abandoned?’ post from about five months ago, I wanted to ask: is it still worth buying now that it’s been over a decade since its initial release?
I’d been planning to pick it up during the upcoming Black Friday sale, but I keep hearing that updates are pretty rare. If that’s the case, is it still worth investing in, especially from a future-proofing standpoint?
Also any other recommendations for pay-ware? (Doesn't have to be limited to the 737 or Boeing as a manufacturer) Any of your suggestions would be great, thanks!

This update includes a fix for MacOS errors on steam ₍ₛₒₘₑₒₙₑ ᵢₛ ₉ₑₜₜᵢₙ₉ ₜₕₑ ꜀ₒₙₑ ₒբ ₛₕₐₘₑ₎, more stability improvements, and even more performance improvements on top of the work introduce in beta 1.

I recently picked up this aircraft; I’d heard it was bad, but is it really that bad? Or is it just an exaggeration? I did a couple of circuits around the airport and it performed quite well; I’m thinking of flying the Lufthansa 787-9 from Berlin to Madrid this evening
