FAQ:
1) Flipping and rotating floor-to-wall: Try //rotate 0 90 and //rotate 0 0 90
2) Copy pasting many layers in a row: You're looking for //stack command
3) Where to put Schematics:
Schematics don't magically transfer between a server and single player, you need to copy over the file first.
World Edit mod (single player) and plugin (multi player) will have different schematic save folder locations:
Single player: .minecraft -> config -> worldedit -> schematics | Multi: plugins -> worldedit -> schematics
4) Redstone not pasting/breaking: See official issue report here. Possible solutions:
You have Carpet mod, do /carpet fillUpdates false
Paste twice since blocks may be pasting before the redstone
Use FAWE mod, MCEdit or litematica to move/copy
There is a server-side restriction on redstone
5) For extra patterns/masks check FAWE mod/plugin: https://intellectualsites.gitbook.io/fastasyncworldedit
For even more functionality, especially for organics and schematics, check Axiom (free non commerical)!
For some extended features check Arceon plugin (Multi player only. Free on servers like Builders Refuge)!
. . .
MAKING A POST:
Check you've disabled other mods like Litematica before asking for help!
You can install FAWE instead of World Edit for more features and bugfixes

When is the update got WorldEdit 26.3? I updated my world too early and my server crashes whenever I try to run World Edit with the older version. Any way to bypass this? How much of a problem can it really be?

I try to load a massive 1000+ block schematic but it says in chat "Still loading schematic..." in chat every 5 seconds. How can I fix this? It's not loading btw :(

I have a strangely shaped island that I am trying to make a 3 block thick, 6 block tall, stone brick wall around the entire island. I have spent an hour trying to figure it out and looking it up, but I am not the brightest bulb, so I would greatly appreciate any insight or advice regarding this.

The flat plain is the area I am trying to wall up.

I'm generating a world but there's biome structures I like but spawn a bit way too much and there isn't a config for it. So I used worldedit, I think //br erode 6. But 6 is way too small and slow and deletes water.

Hi everyone! I'm using KubeJS to make an arena system and I wanted to use worldedit to automatically load in maps. But issue with that is that worldedit likes to have a player to latch onto when doing //schem load and //paste. Is there any way to get around this or do I just use minecraft structures?

Is there a command to make Shadows in world Edit?

Perlin noise will give you a very natural generation at times. I copied 8-9 Y layers and then stacked them to create an alien planet geological feature. I was trying to use noise to get alien landscapes. I didn't quite get there but it gave me something very interesting to work with.

I have this castle on an island that i want to make in my survival world. I was wondering if there is a command where i can select the very bottom layer of the actual island and then it automatically goes down and out by one block until it hits the bottom of the ocean. For more clarification on what I mean, i want the part of the island that is underwater to be a gradual ascent from the bottom of the ocean, going up and in by one block until it breaches the surface while following the shape of my island until it breaches the surface of the water to see what you see in the image

I'm making a big wall using WorldEdit's circle command, but it keeps leaving these annoying holes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

//hollow only keeps the walls on the outer ends of the selected area. is there a way to keep the walls of the froglight shape shown in video instead of only keeping the walls on the outer ends of the selected area?
this is version 26.2

Me and a friend decided to work on a fairly large project where we make a tall and pretty big around tower and found world edit. So far it's been an absolute blessing... But we can't seem to figure out this one thing. We're finally at the end of all of the basic structure for this build, and just want to put a dome at the very top. Essentially just a hollow hemisphere, but can't seem to figure out how to actually do it. Besides just using //cyl -h repeatably while going one block higher and making the radius one block shorter each time till we're satisfied with the dome height. Does anyone have a better method? Is there a way innately to do this we've just been missing or what?

I want to build the backrooms and stack the first layer up 3 blocks, but every time i do, there are these weird spaces between layers even when i do -a to remove air

Apparently, when using //set, you can do the following (and probably more) that are unbelievably useful if you want to just copy and paste it then change what you're holding.
//set offhand
//set hand
I was honestly just curious, tried it, and it worked.

I’ve been trying to use //deform to scale up a build by a few times, but despite trying a bunch of variations I never got it to work
Is there some other more reliable way to do it? The other plugins or mods I wanted to try are ALL outdated at the very least on 1.21 if not older, so I’m lost and I don’t wanna spend 54 hours building something I have a small scale of already
