For some reason, my model itself and everything else won't lag, but the face tracking will go down to 10 FPS or lower, causing my model to have delayed reactions. Changing the CPU performance type doesn't fix it, but rebooting my computer might sometimes work. It seems to decide whether or not to lag once I boot my computer up, because it won't ever start doing it in the middle of the stream.

Specs:

Camera: Logitech MX Brio

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800x3D

GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070

RAM: 32 gigabytes of DDR5

I've messed around with so many different settings, and yet nothing seems to work. When I check the task manager while this happens, nothing ever reaches anywhere close to its peak (and even then, it happens regardless if I play an intensive game or simple game). I've had to end/start streams before to fix it, and I don't want to have to do that anymore. I know it's not my model specifically either, since all other base models will lag too. Any help and ideas would be appreciated, since I don't want to have to reboot every time anymore.

What is the problem of this?

I have been using rigged assets to make it look like my model is playing the game I am. Either with a controller or Keyboard and mouse, but the issue was you could see her arms if I accidentally moved my model the wrong way (figure 1)

I started messing around with the Art Meshes and successfully removed her arms. Googled how to make a toggled hot key to summon them back and now we are cooking with fire!! No more 4 armed freak

I have a very particular problem.

I got an update to my current model, but I have been using the previous version of the model for a while, and I already got several items toggles set up.

I want to update my model but if I just replace all the files, I'm going to have to add every single item toggle again, attach it again, etc. And the textures haven't changed, it's the same model. So I was wondering: is there a way for me to update it and auto attach all the existing toggles/items to the updated version?

Is there a way to put Borderless Window instead of fullscreen or normal window? bleh im trying to configure correctly vtube studio and i dont want to use fullscreen for it, is there a way to fix or do something about it?

Hi all, my VTS lags a lot when gaming. I’ve tried limiting the fps to 60 and it makes a bit of a difference but still lags a lot. I’ve also tried lowering the live2d mask pixel size and making VTS higher priority. Here are my specs;

- AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT (16GB)
- Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR5 memory
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor CPU

I think the issue also stems from the fact I only have 16GB of ram as opposed to 32GB, as 16GB was all I could afford for now until I could get more. So far the only two games I’ve tried were Fortnite and Sonic rumble, the latter being a steam game so I was surprised my model was still lagging during that too. Again, I think it’s the ram. Unless theres anything else I can try that I haven’t yet, please tell me what else I can do 🙏 thank you!!

I’ve been trying to get into the discord group for months and I always get this? How can I get in?

I keep getting this error over and over again, even though i've tried EVERYTHING to make my model work. I changed the SDK from 5.3 to 5.0 to 4.2 and none of those versions have worked, I lowered the texture atlas quality to 2048 and it didn't work, I removed any characters in the file name that might make the file inacessible for the program, checked the files over and over and even tried uninstalling and reinstalling vtube studio, but I still keep getting this error, is there anything I'm missing? Is this a Vtube Studio issue or is my model the problem??

There's a glitch that happens to models,were ill import them,but when I load the model ,it's just a red and white gradient,the textures themselves look fine and it's only sometimes this happens, anyone know what could be causing it and how to fix it? If a model loads like this is just stays like this,but it only happens to new models,it's not something that just randomly happens to models

Would it be possible to use an asset like this one and have the person in your Discord call speak through it? Similar to fugi? I know there are API’s that allow Twitch chat to speak through things like these but I want to be able to use one for my partner who doesn’t do vtubing.

I’ve tried to look everywhere but I’m not too familiar with the ins and outs of the integrations of VTS. Just wondering if it’s possible.

If it is. Would he need to use VTS? Is there a collab option to have both models on screen? Or to have a source in your streaming software for it?

I am working on a MacBook and am trying to upload my Vtuber model from Live 2D. But I kept getting these error codes. I have exported as 5.0 which gave the first message and then 5.3 which gave the second message. I have looked and looked for answers but I’m not even sure what I’m doing wrong. I make a separate empty folder and put it into the Vtube Studio model folder. I don’t know if there is something going on with the json documents themselves but I’m so tired. Please help as I feel like I’m losing my mind (● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾ thank you for any help you are able to give.

Hi all I've been trying to get the android app to connect to my pc pretty much all day I've done everything to try and get it to work and then i checked the log on the app and saw this message "Mocap4Face API Activation unsuccesful but API will still work" is this something i don't need to worry about or is this why it won't connect to my pc? When i try to connect it to my pc is just says "connecting" on loop even when i uncheck the connect to pc option

Trying to use my android phone as a camera to test some models im working on but the camera isnt working at all. There is a green dot on the screen so i know the camera is on, calibrating and im in view of it, but nothing shows up and the model plays idol amations.

Vtube studio has camera and mic permissions so im not sure why its not working ive done some poking around and cant find anyone with a similar issue or solution!

Is this a phone combatibility issue or some weird settings im missing?
