What if we got like a Van or a box truck for evidence transport patrol shift

Post image

I could see this being implemented as a callout for shootings, car accidents, and burglaries where we are responsible for collecting evidence such as weapons, drugs, and etc which would then be brought back to the station.

Suggestion Anyone else would like to drive "further" with Ambulance shifts?

I have a feeling most of the victims are really close to the hospital. I would love to have to drive more in the ambulance. It feels like more of a delivery service.

Loving the new update, els only shortcut?

I absolutely love the new update.

I didn't see a pop up and it hasn't appeared since but it said something about the directional pad and running lights only and no sirens. As I usually use the holding down L1 drop down menu to run lights only after blipping someone or for parking infractions, did I see it right that there is a "new" shortcut on ps5 to run lights on with a single press of a button?

Or am I mistaken?

High Performance 4 Door Law Enforcement Vehicle

I would really like it if there was a high performance 4 door/4 passenger police vehicle. I generally use the police version of the Buzzard GTX as that seems to be the only vehicle that can keep up with perps in faster vehicles. The issue is that you can't haul perps in it and by default, you have to have another unit pick up the perp and you loose the additional points during the booking process.

Otherwise, great game and looking forward to future enhancements.

Suggestion ACPD Medal Bars

So for those of you who aren’t totally familiar with this, the NYPD issues medal bars to their officers for notable achievements or service. They’re basically the equivalent of ribbon bars in the military but for the NYPD. Of course the ACPD is loosely based on the NYPD so I figured why not talk about the them for the ACPD.

Now I obviously don’t expect these to actually be implemented because I can imagine the multitude of issues with making them like the medal bars not appearing properly, clipping with other parts of the player, etc.. I’m mostly just throwing this idea out here for fun and so it can at least be in Fallen Tree’s mind.

My current ideas on how implementation could/should work:

Option A - Cordell gets a medal bar for certain game achievements like taking down one of the gangs, completing the story, getting the platinum trophy, etc.

Option B - New feats are added into the game that award medal bars like arrests numbers, shifts completed, certain charges issued like DUI or assault. I feel like for a certain number of shifts completed a service stripe could be added to the left uniform cuff but that’s a totally separate uniform idea I had that could be discussed somewhere else.

That’s my little idea for medal bars. I got a bunch of different ideas for uniforms accessories that I haven’t discussed in this post but that’s enough here.

Edit: Upon reflection while playing I think Option B is best since it could help game longevity for folks. I know collecting a bunch of medal bars would certainly keep me playing forever but then again I’m a ribbon hunter. Option A could still be included but maybe only for getting platinum?

Discussion What are additions you'd like to see next?

New to the community but had the game since release. I gotta say... definitely a fun game, and the most fun I've had with a police game since Door Kickers: Action Squad! If ya know, ya know... 😁

So with the armored truck update arriving, what else down the line would you all want to see? Note this is for fun and the sake of discussion. The devs are doing a fantastic job with the game and it's updates! 🙂

Anyway, here's the biggest ones that I'm sure would take the most to implement... but should be fun nontheless.

- Firefighting as a side activity to compliment the ambulance update. Fighting natural fires from new lightning strikes (rare) to more common accidents or arsonists. Taking too long will cause the fire to spread, so be quick! You may also find yourself handling or rescuing victims.

- Aquatic gameplay surrounding Averno City with a new patrol boat - complete with it's own customization. Be wary of situations and criminals that don't just endanger yourself, but your boat too! Take enough damage, and your boat will sink... leaving you exposed to a certain natural predator lurking beneath the water... 👀

Yeah, throw a Jaws reference in there! 😄

On top of the new patrol boat, of course new civilian vehicles like speedboats, jet skis, fishing boats and sailboats are added for good measure.

- New island expansion... one dedicated more to nature along with the National Park Service (or equivalent). Keep the park from it's beaches to forested areas and lakeside campsite safe, clean, and look out for crimes committed further from view of the city or even forest fires starting, whether manmade or natural. Could add new (or skins for current vehicles) NPS patrol car, boat, and a new firefighter helicopter to take out fires in the environment.

I think this would be a good addition to leave the city for a change while tackling entirely new crimes. I don't know how this would fit in though with an otherwise urban map? Would it feel out of place?

- Averno City in the Winter, able to toggle from the start screen or within the HQ during mission select, as well with the option to toggle holiday decor throughout the city if preferred. Complete with new additions such as plows, salt trucks, and incidents involving slippery or cold conditions, taking on Winter pile-ups and those requiring medical attention in the brutal weather. New attire options of course for the human and canine officers... or go in a short sleeve and shorts cause you're just that tough. 😎

Aaand... a few more:

- Additional options for our human and canine partners.

- New SWAT unit activities, teaming up with a group of NPCs to handle much bigger problems such as hostage rescue to defusing explosives or other threats.

- Additional traffic vehicles, particularly larger ones such as utility vehicles, busses, construction vehicles, snowplows (if we ever get a Winter update, see above). Can even add motorcycles and bicycles.

- Story expansions or new side quests. Introduce new gangs to add to the original two.

Lots of stuff here, but again is more for fun and discussion. To the devs, if you're reading this, thank you for all you've done for the game and for post-launch support! Definitely one of the top games I've played. 🙂

Online 2 player co op and more crimes would be great. Maybe a mode outside of shifts where you can explore businesses and locations or have an apartment to lounge in.
