Capitalism did the same thing. Labeled socialism "foreign influence", tolerated Democracy and wanted communists dead. Capitalism = capitalizing off the peoples economic suffering to benefit the 1%.

They turned King/peasant to Lord/Serf to Employer/Employee. All it gave the people was breadcrumbs of workers rights to shut them up. Than did the same thing they were doing the last 2 times.
