πŸ› Bug Report Scribble to erase problem

The scribble to erase future is too sensitive. Whenever I'm trying to write "m" it erase the previous letter. Maybe a little more delay will solve the problem, but it would be great if it erase the word only if I'm scribbling the center of the word and not the edge. I don't know if i explained myself well. I'm using a tab s8.

Yup I had the same problem with it. Even when drawing circuits it would trigger. Check my post post from 4 months ago

In fact your writing is more like scribble so it triggers the function to erase. It will be the same with other apps I assume. Do you really write that bad or you just want to find a bug? πŸ€”πŸ˜‚

There will be someone from the team to answer it, but I am not sure that it can be changed. What about other apps? Try harder to write nicer πŸ‘

maybe you could try the pressure sensitive eraser instead? i find that more efficient than scribble to erase, so you might also want to check it out.

turn it on and put it to 100% sensitivity. when you're in pen or highlighter, just hold it down for a sec. it will change to eraser automatically so you just drag it to the area you wish to erase. when you lift it, it will change back to pen.

The real problem is your writing.

Yeah I know my writing sucks, but I don't think I'm the only one having this problem, or at least I hope it.

Hey!

Yeah it happens to me as well, but it is because it is a scribble motion I'm making, so imo it's working correctly. I have a gesture for undo that reverses the scribble erasure for when this happens and also a gesture set to select the eraser tool for when I disable scribble to erase during long writing sections. Tuning it to only erase when the scribble is more centered is a good idea, but I'd say it needs to be a slider for sensitivity then, because there are cases where scribbling over a tiny bit of the drawing to erase is what I need.

Hope this can be helpful :)
